Gorgeous.Romantic.
And you can learn : today it was the Art Of Georgian Cookery but
tomorrow it could be poetry
Keats House is where the poet John Keats lived from 1818 to 1820,
a setting that inspired some of Keats’s most memorable poetry. Here,
he wrote ‘Ode to a Nightingale’, and fell in love with Fanny Brawne, the girl next door.
It was from here he travelled to Rome where he died of TB aged just 25.

Review of Keats House Museum from 10 January 2008

This beautiful house has become a landmark for literary followers. In the heart of Hampstead, Keats House was where poet John Keats fell in love with Fanny Brawne and wrote arguably his most famous poem, 'Ode to a Nightingale'. The museum also holds regular poetry readings and literary discussions.
