Also known as WHQ, this is my favourite club in the toon and always has been. Throughout the years it has maintained its reputation as the quirky friendly hip place it is known to be. Unlike most of the other clubs in Newcastle it hasn't changed at all for some time!
It's a small venue and tends to be kept very dark. It's on two floors but the ground floor only gets used occasionally for special nights. Most nights are held upstairs. You walk through the door and are welcomed by a fun upbeat relaxed atmospehere. There is a bar to your left and the dj booth with a sign infront of it saying 'Love one another' - this motto is truly felt by all- once the act commences everybody becomes best friends and faces the booth for some quality raving stomping happy times. The music is ALWAYS great and neither myself or any of my friends are known to not have had a great night at this little underground funkotheque.
