Great bar with lively atmosphere. Came with some friends and had a wicked night out. Be warned though; it get's pretty packed after 9pm and there are loads of wannabee wags hanging around.

The cocktails are great, especially during the disount hours.
I’ve been going to Modo for over 10 years now and I think it is starting to get a bit past it’s best.
Avoid at all costs come the weekend when it is packed and full of people wanting to be seen.

Modo is part of a square where you have a lot of bars to compete with. After sampling them all, this is def my favourite.
Some amazing views on a Saturday night, the music quality and you can get a sailor Jerrys and coke for less than £4 which is abonus.

Modo is an excellent and very popular bar with a big attitude. The main bar is split into two levels, with various seating areas in each. There is a VIP area up a flight of stairs at the back of the bar (with private bar area and seating should you be lucky enough to go up there at any point!). There is a good range of cocktails available, priced 2 for 1 on selected evenings. Popular with locals, university students, and visitors to the city of Liverpool. Queuing time for drinks may be long at popular times. A must visit, must see cocktail bar!

The best cocktail bar ive ever gone to, i went on saturday just gone and this was my favourite bar by a long way. It is a really cool looking place and is very popular. The drinks deals are really good because on everyday but saturdays its 2.95 for a cocktail and bogoff but even on saturdays you can get a 4 pint pitcher of cocktails for 11 quid which is brilliant. downstairs in this place there is a dj and a big dancefloor too which makes the place absolutely amazing. The location of this place is brilliant too because its in the middle of all the main bars and clubs in liverpool.

This is a great bar for cocktails, the 2 for 1 offer is a bargain. I normally get a pitcher to share with friends :-)

i find that the only good thing about modo is the cocktails. especially on a sun-thurs when they are 2-4-1.

its the ideal place for a girly night, when the cocktails are flowing, and if you can get a seat in one of the alcoves to the side.
if not, then your either standing, or sitting on an impossibly soft couch right next to the DJ.

downstairs is a bit better, however i find the steps down to be a bit treacherous when your in heels and have had a few drinks. also, the stairs tend to get a bit crowded as at the bottom are the loos, and invariably, there is a queue for the ladies.

the bar downstairs is longer, however i find that if you dont have the right face, you can wait a lot longer to get served. downstairs tends to be slightly less pretentious than upstairs, however does seem a bit dark and dingy.
the saving grace of the upstairs bar is that in the summer, it opens out on both sides for those wanting to sit in that rare event of british summer - the sunshine.

during the week is the best time to go to modo if you dont want snotty looks from the fake tanned fashionistas who think they are better than you becuase they can be louder and more obnoxious.

for a quiet drink, this is not the place, but to compete on a social catwalk, then go for it!

Modos is the best place in Liverpool for cocktails on a girls night out. Reasonable enough at the best of times even better when they are on two for one! Nice places to sit inside, and although it gets busy it’s never so bad that you can’t get served. Although i’ve always been here before going somewhere else so it could get busy later on! Nice seating area upstairs with comfy couches etc. One novelty value is the unisex toilets, one door, then turn right or left when youget in depending upon your preferences! A good place to sit outside in the summer and people watch although concert aquare can get slightly rowdy, my husband tells the tale of stepping over a trail of blood!

Good pre-bar in good central location. Good offers on cocktails and good music always played. Lots of nook and crannies to sit in and just chill out - loads bigger than it appears from the outside.

Famed for its cocktail pitchers. Uber-trendy bar, on two levels. young and funky crowd, very gay friendly. Set in Concert Square club scene area of Liverpool, outside covered seating area, brilliant for summer evenings.

I love Modo - summer in Liverpool would not be the same without it. 2 for 1 cocktails and a big outdoor area make for some boozy nights of fun!

Modo really comes alive in the warmer months as it boasts a huge outdoor drinking area in the middle of Concert Square (the epicentre of Liverpool nightlife). The drinks are reasonably priced and the service is usually pretty quick.
A great place to drink just before hitting a big club.

Best in the summer months for its outside space. However it is a pretty good all round bar and does attract the more famous and wealthy on occasions. Serving decent cocktails and a reasonable price and 2 for 1 on weekedays its a good bet.

If you want to go soap-star spotting, then you can't really go wrong with Modos! The cast of Hollyoaks regularly frequent this bar and it's not unusual to see you favourite star acting a little tipsy!

On the plus side, Modos is popular amongst the student crowd for its excellent cocktails, drinks offers and trendy vibe. Also, as it is situated slap-bang in the centre of Concert Square, it is at the heart of Liverpool's nightlife.

Modos is based over two floors with both bars pumping out a variety of chart and hip-hop tunes. In the summer you can also drink outside on the decking in Concert Square. Oh, and for the lazy drinker, the front of ther bar opens up so you don't even need to step inside to get your drink!

It's maybe getting a bit dated now, but I've always had a good time at Modos! Go on, give it a whirl!
