This former school building has a new burst of life as an integral part of the local community. The Southville Centre is available for conferences and room hire, consisting of the large Main Hall (think back to those morning assemblies!) and two other smaller but light and cheerful rooms for small groups and downstairs the Lower Hall hosts many children's activities. The centre has its own car park, a small but perfectly designed garden and offers disabled access.

The bustling little café caters for all day breakfasts, sandwiches, snacks, tea and coffee; all at very reasonable prices. Vegan and vegetarian options are available and there is also a licensed bar, useful for evening events! A Christmas market will be held on the 15th December with stalls, children's workshops and a crèche. Other activities include yoga, Egyptian bellydancing, circuit training and loads of stuff for kids such as tae kwon do and creative workshops.
