This is a large and wonderful new outlet (opened in Spring 2007) of this co-operatively-run chain of children's educational and toy stores, found throughout Catalonia and Valencia. It's located in the new suburb currently being being near Vilanova seafront, of L'Eixample de Mar.
It specialises in high-quality toys, games, books, interactive media, artists' materials for children up to the age of 14. The emphasis is firmly on things that will develop children while enhancing play, so expect brands like Lego, Playdoh, Fisher Price, Domus, Playmobil and Master Hobby.
It really is a paradise for children, with a vast amount of things to choose from, and the staff are knowledgeable and helpful. It's not quite as cheap as Toys'R'Us, but then the emphasis is different. It's a lovely looking store for a start, and there's an excellent library section where you (and the children) can browse happily. This is one of the nicest stores of its type I've seen. Very impressive.
