My friend went to Lovin Studios in February for a portfolio and saw a casting director Ricky who created a lovely portfolio for her which is gorgeous and has been giving her paid jobs with Asiana magazine and Glam Asia! She recommeded it for to me, Im no model but I had a great time with Enzo and Jenaid the makeup and photographer. Was a bit small but right next Oxford street, location is great and easy to find. The images was a little expensive so I only got 5 with a discount of free airbruishing and editing which is why I purchased. After the airbrushing...they looked like magazine shotS!

Complete waste of time! The studio is run down, tiny and no place to spend a whole day, especially with a baby. My wife booked this for us to have a family photoshoot with our 9mth old baby.
My wife enjoyed the make up session and the photographer was good (but not great).
The issue I have was the sales of the photos. We had ninety in total and we were sat down with Mark (if that's his real name) who gave us complete bull5hit to sell us photos. First of all he said £900 for 10 photos which I laughed at. We still ended up paying £600 which I regret. We were told we will receive our air brushed photos in 7 days... I am still waiting! We were given the raw images on the day. I have tried phoning but the phone line is dead.. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!
Complaints:
-Run down dirty studio which does not reflect what they say on the website
-very small inside
-the photographer is sub contracted and he specialised in architecture not family photos! the photos were ok but nothing great
-the sales process is a complete rip off and bull5hit
-still have not received my airbrushed final photos

i give it a five star as i have been there and was lucky. all the day i was pampered and got a nice make up done and some hints regarding make up. i wana thank that lady over there, m. N....who was v. friendly and pleasant. as far as my pictures are concerned, they are just superb.
i love all -the place, the staffs there were cool type and all the professional team over there.

i have been there, winning the competition. i must say i didn't believe it at first. when i went down there i have been warmly welcome and have a nice day with a well done make up and hair style and the photshoots were outgoing. i love all of them without any exception!!!

had a very nice shoot there. my cousin jenny brought me there along. we had lots of fun, crazy poses for the pictures and the best thing about it is that i can use the pictures on my fb account.

had a nice time at the studio. i really appreciated the work done - first the welcoming greeting , the make up artist had perfectly done hair and make up. i just love it!!!!!! as far as the photographer was concerned he has made me feel me at ease - i really love my pictures.wish to book one session for my boyfriends bday!!!!!

i would highly recommend this studio for several reasons:
i have been there and i was warmly welcomed
my hair was in a complete mess and the make up artist manged to do the style i wish to
make up was done with care and love
the photographer was a cool guy
lots of shots taken and i was at ease with that way
my friend also enjoy the time spent there
most of all the pictures and make up was the best
thanks to all

My cousin, Jade got her hair and make-up done here for her wedding, and the
stylist and make-up artist did such a phenomenal job! She wanted to look
sexy but natural and that's exactly what they did for her. She never
looked better! and then they god a free photoshoot as well and they spent just £ 100!! that was her best present!!!

I had an absolutely LOVINGLY experience at
Makeover london Studio . the make uo was sooooooo good!!! makeup, and the photos was out of this world!!
my hair style and makeup looked amazing and everyone in the studio was extremely nice! I'll return to see about regular make up services too. as far as the photos are concerned, they were too good. good quality. good light. and good posture. i ws a little nervous at first but felt at ease later on....

this was a cheerful time over there. it was my girlfriend birthday treat...which she found were amazing. the make up was good and the photoshoot was so top. the photographer took us a bit outside the studio for some snaps and especially the effects of some little snow made the pictures look peety.

love this place! Makeover studios do really good makeovers. I had not heard of them before my friend brought me a voucher to have a makeover with them. The first thing that I did was to check them out online to see what it was all about and I was amazed how cheap the deals are. They do have some pricy ones that include a lot of pictures but most of them are around the £50 per artwork and they gave big a bigger discount when i got a bunch. To be honest I was not expecting much from it at that price. It was a great pleasure to find out that you get such a lot for you rmoney. I have tried loads of different hairdressers in our area and none were as good as the one at makeover studios. I will be going back to have my hair done there again. I did not realize that they were part of Burlingtons who have an excellent reputation for hairdressing. The makeup was also really good, the MAC consutant JJenaid used only MAC \- my favorite and gave loadsof tips and advice whats better foir my skin tone. it was a bit more like stage makeup than what you would normally wear out during the day but they explained to me that they have to do this because the lights of the camera can bleach it out and you can look a bit washed out on the shots. I didn’t want to take it all off when I left so they toned it all down for me and I got my husband to take a lot more shots when I got home so I could practice getting the same look again with the help of the pictures and the chart they gave me. You get on free shot with the package, the rest you have to buy. They start at fifty pounds and got up to two hundred and fifty depending on what size you want and you also have to pay extra if you want them touched up but they don’t do any pushes sales stuff you which is great as I am really bad a saying no when put under pressure but to be honest the shots sell themselves. I am really glad that I had the opportunity to try this experience and would go again in the future. Hightly recommeded for a one of experiecnce - Definately worth it

thumbs up to the work done by the whole team. this is one of the best treat i could obtain for my date. i really like the make up done with my girlfriend. she was just wooooooow. the photographer was very friendly and makes us feel at ease as it was our first photoshoot. i thank him for the wonderful job he is doing over there. most of all i loved the picture taken on the sofa!!!!!!

Very Evil.
My sister got called that she 'won' this makeover photo shoot experience, and wanted me to come with her, so she already paid the "fully refundable" £100. When we got there we just filled in this card thing that requires you to put your details and also what kind of hair and make up you will like...the make up was soon rubbish...she clearly didn't know what she was doing...she didn't even have make up for my skin tone or even close to it...the make up was cheap unbranded stuff...thank God I brought my make up bag, so I asked to use the toilet and did it all my self...your make up and hair doesn't look like the ones on the wall or albums...our photographer was quite nice...but he is all part of the scam...after our photo shoot we waited downstairs for like a good 30 mins, while Mr Manager was scamming the people before us, so that they won't warn us...when we finally got to his office...we went through the pictures which were decent...he then asked us which ones we wanted...we told him we want 3, 2 individual and 1 together...which would cost £150 and use the deposit to pay £100, so what will be left is £50....the manager then turned really nasty and said we had to get a minimum of 5 which cost £450...which doesn't add up...he then said that if we don't pay today our pictures will be deleted and we will pay £800 and lose our deposit and then get taken to court, we then agreed that my sister will pay by installment of £50 each month (as im an unemployed student)...by this time it was dark and a few freaks and weirdos were around, so I wanted to escort my sister to the atm to withdraw money, but he said no...so I was stuck in the room with him alone...he kept asking me when his next payment will me, and I kept saying that he will have to wait until my sister comes. He was very rude and arrogant and intimidating...PLEASE DONT GO THERE.

I see yours was a recent, even me too, pls how can we bring them to justice? They took £450 pounds forcefully as against my wish and threatened me with court action if I refuse for what I was told was a competition win makeover secured with a fully refundable initially £50 deposit only to hear they took £100. Thieves, that’s what they are, carrying out such shameful and disgraceful act for undeserved cash, forceful cash, manipulative cash. Judgement awaits them.

They are EVIL they conned me out of £300 knowing I had a 12 week old baby at home they caught me at a time when I was dealing with a new born and had entered a few competitions online while baby was sleeping. He told me thy the aligns would come to my house to get the money if I didn't pay £200 extra and that was a special offer as he could see I was distressed :( awful awful experience make up and hair were rubbish they didn't even have tea or coffee only weak squash so much for the champagne we were promised. I can honestly say one of the WORST experiences of my life !

On 6/11/12 at 3:10pm I received a call from Tiffany who told me I had won a free makeover photo shoot, I actually didn’t remember entering any competition but I was still excited to have won. She explained to me that I would have to pay £100 deposit just to secure the makeup artist and photographer. When I asked if I would get the money back she assured me I would, as soon as my photo shoot was finished. That was the only reason I agreed to attend. She explained there would be refreshments on arrival and throughout the whole experience, however I didn’t get offered anything when I arrived. I was also told the make-up that would be used would be from companies such as Dior, Channel plus other exclusive brands. What were actually used was very low budget products, for example the foundation used was called Naturals, you can buy this in Superdrug’s for between £1 - £3. I should have brought my own makeup, which costs much more
. The makeup artist said she mainly does elite models, if this is true I doubt she uses that type of makeup on them. I was also supposed to have a consultation about how I want my makeup, when I told her she did totally the opposite, I assume she thought she knew better. In the end I wasn’t satisfied with my make up at all! We then moved onto my hair, I asked for it to look trendy, we decided we were going to do it up, but she ended up just curling it with straighteners and leaving it down, again I assume she thought she knew better. To conclude my experience with both hair and makeup, I was not listened to and the results were not what I asked for.
When I went down stairs for the photo shoot the photographer kept rushing me because he was supposed to finish working hours ago, my friend and I were the last customers so didn’t even get the 40 pictures taken. When the shoot finished the manager invited us to his office to look through the pictures. When I told him I did not want to buy any pictures as I have very limited money and I just wanted to get my £100 back, he was quite rude, explaining to me that I haven’t read the terms and conditions (even though the link in the e-mail was broken I sent you an email about this – including a screen shot). He said I have to buy minimum of 5 pictures with the cheapest ones being £50 each, including the VAT I would have to pay £300 there and then. I explained I didn’t have any money on me, he said he can do me a student discount so I only have to pay £200 he would then use my deposit towards the total, that seemed to me to still equate to £300. When I explained that Tiffany had told me I could have my deposit back he just ignored me and said the only thing that is free is the “experience” and if I don’t pay in the next few day I would be taken to court! I found this a terrifying prospect.
I have subsequently navigated through your main website and found your terms and conditions, inside it states: if you require your deposit back you need to send a hand written letter 7 days after confirmation of your appointment, once authorised you will get you money back within 28 working days. Please accept this as my formal request for the return of my deposit.
I have since found many similar complaints on the Internet about you’re company and the offer, with many calling it a scam. I have already written a complaint to Trading Standard and The Advertising Standards Agency and I believe many more are lodged or on there way.

Something should be done about this. I have been there yesterday with my family. So stupid that I haven't check this site before, but lady on the phone was waiting so I paid £99.00 instead of £60.00 via paypal(I didn't give my bank details over the phone)-assurance for us to attend on the day.
Fair enough as all the monies will be refunded on the day...I was told.
We came there at 5.00pm, waiting for an hour to make up etc. After hour when I asked how long it is going to be, as my son was bored and hungry, they took us to fungus stinky downstairs. Then "make-up artist" said that I can have my makeover now. It took about 5 minutes...well I do myself better than this in 3 minutes! My hair wasn't really done, as they were still wet from the rain and she didn't have blow drier so she couldn't do anything with it....
Then few shots, Enzo the Photographer was nice and funny. Shame that he takes place in such a big SCAM.

I have gave "them" time until tomorrow, if nothing till then I will show them how they should't MUG people. And when I say I really mean.

Jan54, 27 November 2012:i too have been duped. but worse – i must be the biggest fool going – they got a further £700 off me as they told me I wouldn’t be able to use photos for my website as i wouldn’t hold the copywrite unless I bought them on cdc. Minimum was 5 pictures per person, making 10 altogether. I have already emailed my complaint. I would love to know what response others have had to their complaints. We should be stronger if we fight together
