Any pub that serves Frulli gets my vote.

I do love the Prince Albert, although due its location it does get rather rammed. Great atmosphere, good food (average wannabe gastro style), cute garden with fairy lights.

The worst thing about this pub is the service. It has always been too slow and sometimes rather moody. Why do moody people always get jobs in pubs I wonder? Because place like the PA keep employing them. However, this has not stopped me from returning. So it can’t be that bad…it isn’t, but it’s annoying when you can feel yourself sobering up in between drinks as you are waiting by the bar for service. Its festival queuing syndrome, where people start bulk buying. Wait Wait Wait.

ANYWAY…always a good mix of people and lots of place to sit.

Tuesday from 5pm is £10 a bottle on all wine. Which is good if you only want to out for a quick drink on a Tuesday and before you know it you are saying hello to bottle number 3!

great pub near the tube station, nice little heated outside area, good starting place to meet friends for a quick drink before moving on elsewhere. Service pretty slow probably due to place being fairly busy, but venue appeals as convenient location and pleasant decor, good atmosphere

I haven’t visited this pub since the summer because I found this to be one of the worst pubs in the Notting Hill area. Not because of the pub itself as I think it’s quite nice and large and do like the beer garden at the back especially in the summer. But because of the poor bar staff they seemed to have. Frequently I had to wait for a while as it was clear the bar staff were not serving people in turn and had no idea what was going on. Its disappointing as the pub is in a good location and very close to Notting Hill tube station. Instead of going here I would advise people to visit the Churchill Arms which is about 5 minutes away and has a much better atmosphere with staff who know what they are doing.

A lovely pub in Notting Hill with a gorgeous fairy-lit, heated garden. Lots of character, good and reasonably priced food menu, cool clientele - but not too cool.

They have Fruli on tap, which is good if you like an occassional frivolous fruit beer.

Can get a bit too busy in the evenings, but this is a super place to come for afternoon drinking.

Oh yes, thumbs up to this place. This is top notch for great beers. It’s quite busy because it’s popular and right across the street from Notting Hill station. You’ll end up sharing tables with other customers at this place, but everyone is friendly and helpful despite how crowded it gets. It is quite big and there is even a patio area outside if you like drinks outside. A couple of years ago, the exterior was renovated which helped boost the appeal of the pub. The purple/grey paint makes it stand out from other pubs. It’s all traditional inside with the smell of beer all round and even has a great cook. He puts together a great selection of burgers, chips, bangers and mash and I’d highly recommend it. If you are in the mood for something quite fatty and tasty then this is a great pub to go to. However, I’ve seen some of the seats of the Prince Albert’s pub and… well, at least the stains, whatever they may be, are dry.

The Prince Albert has definetely secured its place as one of the top pubs in notting hill after the recent renovation it has had. For the smokers amongst us, it boasts a very spacious well-heated garden which has a vey good atmosphere especially on the weekends. If your a fan of original beers, this pub will not disappoint. It offers a variety of beers from the continent such as Frueli, which one wouldn't find in other more traditional pubs. This is also a great place to go during the day for a quick bite. I had a delicious steak sandwich and mouth-watering desert for six pounds. The music played was very disappointing and so quiet you could hardly hear it though. The staff were very efficient despite the large numbers

The Prince Albert is one of my favourite pubs in London (that I know of anyway!)
Its décor is really welcoming- it has a oblong bar in the centre of the venue and a mixture of low tables with chairs and sofas and high tables with stools all around the bar and off the centre in some side rooms. There is a gorgeous outside area with a lot of seating and they have heaters there in the winter so it does get warm enough to sit out there!
It’s about a 30 second walk from Notting Hill tube and a 2 minute walk to Portobello, so ideal if you are on your way to/from the market and want to rest your feet whilst sipping a cold pint!

This is a really lovely pub with a great atmosphere. It often gets a little overcrowded on the weekends but its always good fun. The food is really tasty, if not a little overpriced but the drinks are reasonable. All in all, a great pub to bring your friends to.

very charming place with a wide selection of beers on tap on also WINE on tap. the food is good, slightly overpriced probably because of the location, but the atmosphere is always great and the interior is interesting with over sized couches and different sized and shaped tables. also a very helpful & straight forward website if you want to have a look at the menu. http://www.the-prince-albert.co.uk/
staff is friendly and know their stuff.
