i absolutely LOVE the dim sum here….still easily the best in Bristol, if not the South West….. had some friends down last Sunday and even they highly rated the dim sum…...but then so did half of the chinese people in bristol, as it was so full….luckily we booked! anyway, no doubt we will visit again very soon

If only the food can be less greasy. But it seems to be a die-hard problem of most of the old Chinese Restaurant. By ‘old’, I mean those more than 10 years. Some recently opened ones are getting better.
Once I was there with friends and we ordered a Tofu dish, which turned out to be a bit sour than it’s supposed to be. I’m pretty sure the Tofu had already gone off. The service is not too bad in the sense that the manager changed retracted the dish immediately and changed a different one. It could have been better in the sense that they shouldn’t charge us for that dish :D
To sum up, I personally wouldn’t go there too often.

This restuarant has been in Redcliffe for opver 20 years I am told. Given this fact I was a little diappointed by the quality of the food and the ambiance which is completely lacking. The dining area is a huge, bordering on clinical room which I can hardly imagine them ever being able to fill. I also found a hair in my food which the Waiter shrugged off which was irritating to say the least. On the plus side, we visited for my sister's birthday and were given a large round table with plenty of space and the staff were also very accommodating in allowing us to bring a birthday cake and generally make a lot of noise!
