Lovely little - tiny, in fact - chippy in pleasant Stoney middleton. Located in what is presumably an original old toll building on the high street, this cheap and cheerful chipshop exudes lovely smells through the village from its prominent chimney.
Need somewhere nearby to eat the fruits of the Toll? Worry not! Stumble forth a mere six feet from the door and take a seat on an old bench by the stream in 'The Grove’ (a pocket-park donated to Stoney Middleton council by a Mr. Neil Groves in the 1990s).
