So being that I am committed to the last carnivore this is yet another steak place review. A little off the beaten track this steak restaurant is a 15 minute walk from Bethnal Green or a 5 minute taxi ride. Its a small place maybe holding up to 24 people. As per its website its chef owner was on the grill. We had the deluxe grill between us a 14 oz sirloin, an 11 oz ribeye, 2 sausages, black pudding and cheese, and a side order of fries. The meat was thick and perfectly cooked although my carnivore kept reusing the grill to reheat his meat as it was taking him a while to get through th deliciousness of his 14 oz sirloin allowing me to devour the ribeye, sausages, black pudding and cheese(fairs fair!). These were the best steaks we have had so far in London, and perhaps the world (although I have found memories of the Steak in Tiramisu in SanFrancisco). I cannot comment on Dessert as we had a second bottle of Finca Flichman Syrah instead but the bill for the deluxe grill, a side of fries and 2 bottles of yummy red wine came to £87.36(including the obligatory 12% service charge). Would not hesitate to recommend, definitely worth the trek to E8!

About the nearest you will get to an authentic argentine steak outside of Buenos Aires, surely in the top 3 steak restarants in London, if not England. A slice of Latin America in Hackney.

Whenever the topic for conversation about places to eat, or what restaurants you have been to. Buen Ayre is always mentioned, i cannot help but praise this place enough for serving the best steak i have ever eaten. This place is truly a gem, and its in Hackney.

This place is a gem. I've been to Gaucho, Rotisserie and others and was underwhelmed by all of them. This is the nearest I've got to a proper Argy steakhouse since Buenos Aires and Uraguay and a good 20-30% cheaper than the Gaucho. Highly recomend Bife ancho con morrones y guarnición (rare of course!).
