this not the most nicest of tube stations because there is always litter on the floor and it smells of pee plus sometimes there are creepy goths looking at you out of the shadows (scary) the cleaner seems to hate me? everytime i see him he scowels at me…i reccomend traveling on a different tube station

this is not a good maintained tube station and i think i saw a rat there once! dont stop at this station it is not clean and the staff arent very nice…the negative points just keep going and going

I cant believe you guys are giving this train station a high score based on its escalators i personally hate the things lol. With that out of the way let me start by saying ive only visited the station once and to be honest it seemed preety average to me (apart from the escalators) at the end of the day though a stations a station and it serves its purpose as a place to get public transport.

When ever i visit this station i still get butterflies and excited over the sheer size of the escalators - silly at 26 but im still yet to find bigger!!!!!!
Angel station in a fab place , as chapel market is near enough opposite.

Very deep underground Angel tube station has the largest escalator in eastern europe. Aside from that Angel tube is pretty unremarkable, as grubby as any other tube station with equally high prices. There is a nice courtyard round the back of the tube station, and the front of it is a popular meeting place .

I love this station for one reason only. A truly amazing sporting feat took place here a year or so ago. That's right my friends, this is the home of the world famous Angel Tube Skier - www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eup-UfYHiTY

There's a pretty crazy goth club behind the station called Slimelight. Interesingly, the opening times for the club are correspondent with the opening times for the Tube stop! Cool huh?

This station holds a feat...it has the longest escalator in the whole of the network of the London Underground. Whether that is cool or not I am undecided as I previously had a fear of these moving staircases. Plus, as a Londoner I am always in a hurry, so I want to get to the train/street level therefore a long escalator is annoying.

Good location though and easy enough to connect to bus/bar/restuarant at street level and there is a cash machine in the station that doesnt charage which is pretty cool, but it is a bit windy though.
