Zerodegrees is a very modern, cool bar. I love the futuristic decor. They do some really interesting beers which are brewed on site and they offer you tasters to help you make up you mind which one to order. It also has a large sun terrace overlooking Bristol.

I guess it’s one of the place Bristolians are proud of?
The Mango Beer is my favorite. It’s interesting to see the brewery and such. I always take my friends there when they visit Bristol.
I highly recommend Salmon Pizza and Mussel, especially the latter, for which you can get a huge bowl full of mussels soaked in delicious sauce.

How’s this for an idea. Build a brewery from scratch. Build a bar around it + restaurent. In terms of beer only serve the stuff you make. Sounds crazy? maybe but my gosh it works perfectly.
I love this place!
It looks like a set from DR WHO and the food you’d be hard pushed to equal in a decent restaurant. There’s two beer gardens (well ones a lage balcony, the other is at the side and is a paved area with seating) Both are lovely in the summer and with the smoking ban firmly in place it’s nice to be able to choose your location for a quick smoke.
The big draw is the beer, there’s five on tap including:
Pils: a decent beer that will keep any lager fan happy all night.
Wheat Beer: a tasty wheat beer not to dry and a wonderful straw colour.
Pale Ale: My personal favourite an american style beer as good as anything on either side of the pond.
Black Lager: Strong in flavour but not a killer on the alochol front so have a couple, it’s very good.
Speciality beer: My only problem with the sepciality beer is that 99% of the time it’s mango beer, which is very nice, unusual but nice, however far to common here and the novelty does ware off. On occasion they do do a fantastic rasberry beer and i’m told in late autumn / winter they’ll do a apple and cinammon beer - I have yet to see this though.
The food is pretty much pizza or mussels but they’re done with such care and attention in the open kitchen that you don’t need anything else. This pub is worth a night out or three I could quite happily live here given half a chance.

Moving with the 'health conscious' times, you don't have to feel too guilty enjoying a few pints at Zerodegrees. Brewed onsite - you will be amoungst the tanks and pipes for a industrial type setting - the beers are unpasteurised, free of additives / colourings and have no sweeteners.

Multi-levels with decking (great views of the Christmas steps and city), the venue takes a theatre-style approach to drinking and dining. While this makes you feel part of everything happening at the venue, it does have an impact on the acoustics...great for a party, not for an intimate one-on-one conversation.

Food - great pizzas in their wood-fire oven. Beers - seasonal options like mango beer a favourite together with pale ale, wheat ale, pilsner, black larger, etc. Happy Hour 4 - 7pm pint is £1.90.

ENJOY - the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory for beer!

Zero Degrees is a restaurant that serves tasteful dinners such as pasta, except there is a twist. A unique beer brewery is part of the restaurant and its’ beer choices include Wheat Ale in varying flavours. The design is futuristic and clean when you walk inside; it almost looks like the set of A.I before you get to the restaurant. This minimalist look works to make the restaurant appealing without distracting the customer to the real attraction: the pizza and pasta.

An interesting venue. The microbrewery situated on site offers a unique dining experience for the inhabitants of Bristol.
The pizzas are excellent and come with a wide range of toppings. The ale is superb and brewed on site within the enormous casks that loom over head. A try before you buy service makes the dining experience refreshingly different and interactive.
Although not the cheapest place to eat in Bristol, there are numerous deals, and the menu is varied enough to keep all ages content. There two pound beer deal i summer was a winner also.
Owned by the infamous George Ferguson, this place is strangely inviting despite the cold industrial structure.

This restaurant and microbrewery combination makes for an extra special evening. A tasty, fresh and extensive menu of delicious pizzas, pastas, salads, plus more, coupled with the additive free, unpasturised beer produces a perfect combination. Why not enjoy a caramerlised pear and gorgonzola pizza, washed down with a pint of mango beer!
