Compliment

If you live in Clifton, Redland, or other haunts of the ´haut monde´, you may well find yourself in a sandwich shop purchasing a ridiculously overpriced sandwich with bread apparently baked at "Herbert´s", and wonder what is so special about that. Upon chowing down on the said sarnie, however, you will wonder where the devil this genial little bakery is, for anywhere that fills your hungry chops so delectably must be worth a visit, and is well worth the extravagance of price.
The better thing to do, however, is take your best tweeds to St Paul´s (they´re only telling you Montpelier to make you feel safer), turn off Ashley Road on to York Road, and you will see a mischievously graffitied building upon which is daubed the nomenclature of this fantastic establishment. Inside you will see, for a third of the price, the finest collection of baked goodies in all of Bristol. Pick some up. Pay for them. Take them home. Eat them. Feel proud that you have been to "the dangerous part of town". Save yourself from the ridiculous expense of exported Herbert´s bread, forever!
