TOP UMZÜGE

The guys from Top Umzüge that came on the day that we were
moving were polite and very nice.After a cup of Tee
they began with our move. I was surprised at how well they loaded
our properties into the truck and how safe they made sure everything was in the truck.

When they arrived at our new house in Manchester we had some troubles
with our estate agent transferring funds and couldn't collect the
keys to let the packers load our belongings into the new house.
Although they had to wait for a couple of hours they didn't complain
even once .They were as good as gold .Thanks again guys .

My boyfriend and I were moving from Mitte to Tiergarten. Not knowing anything about these services, we decided to use Top Umzuege, but because of the unprofessional service they provided, it turned out to be one of the most stressful days of my life.
We had arranged the moving for 11.00 in the morning. At 13:00 they were still not in our old flat, so I gave them a call. They said they were going to be there in an hour at most. At 16:00 they were still not there, and this started causing serious problems for us, since we arranged certain things with the previous tenant of our new flat, but because Top Umzuege was late, we could not leave yet... To cut a long story short, we phoned them up during the day another two times, and both times they claimed they were coming in an hour (they were apologizing, and said they had to move other customers before they could come to us). By 23:00 (!!!), incredibly stressed out, having spent the whole day among packages in an otherwise empty flat, we started to think that we had been cheated. However, they finally came around 23.30 (can you believe it??) - I was very angry, but also relieved that in the end we will move. It took them some time to pack everything into the van, but then came the next problem - by the time they were ready, there were no U-Bahns running, so my boyfriend and I could not get to our new flat, so we insisted that they provide for our transportation somehow. This meant that I had to drive with two guys in the front of the van, and my boyfriend with another guy in the back area (where the furniture is)! He said it was extremely uncomfortable and even got hit by a piece of furniture when the car took a sharp turn. The driver did not even know properly where our street was (obviously did not look it up on the map before), so I had to navigate. And now the most incredible thing: I originally arranged for a van with two guys, since that was cheaper, and we did not have that many items to move. But since they were coming from other customers, there were three guys in the van, and so after they packed out everything, they insisted that I pay the much higher price for the three helpers!! Despite the fact that I only wanted two helpers, and that they came at night instead of in the morning! I told them that I was not going to pay more than we arranged for, so in the end (after arguing) I paid the original price - but I did not manage to convince them that I should pay even less because of the amazingly bad service and the late arrival. By now it was around 2.30 a.m, so I was extremely tired and simply glad they were gone.
It was the most unprofessional service I have ever encountered, which caused us a lot of trouble and worry. I would strongly suggest that you do not use their service, and rather look for a more reliable one (there are plenty in Berlin). In retrospect, I should have done a more careful research, and read recommendations from other users (like this website).
It is funny that their advertisement says they are "schnell und zuverlässig" - they are actually the opposite!!!
