There is a shop on Lower Marsh street, which is down the side of Waterloo station in between Waterloo Road and Westminster Bridge Road, called Scooterworks. It, not very surprisingly, sells and repairs old scooters, Vespas and the like, which are all really cool. What is even cooler though is that at the back of the shop, nestled between the scooters is a totally unique coffee shop. You’ll have never seen anything like it. Also there is a great little courtyard out the back which would be a fab on a hot summer’s day.

I was going to write a review of Scooterworks, but I wasn't too sure about the legality of the place. But I assume if they have a website all is fine and dandy!!

They have some kind of 1950s Faema coffee machine for those coffee aficionados out there. I believe they started as a scooter outlet which served their customers coffee.... Which explains all the scooters / scooter parts strewn about the place, and spark plugs behind the counter.

They also hold a monthly experimental music night which sounds quite exciting.

Oh my god! this place really is amazing!

It's got a really relaxed vibe, with a cat strolling about, chilled tunes on the stereo, and the most amazing hot chocolate I have ever tasted in my life... seriously! this stuff is like chocolate mouse! £1.80 a cup! such a treat!

They dont serve food here but you are welcome to bring in your own lunch and eat it there which is great!
They have lots of scooter helmets on the wall and a vespa inside!

try it you will love it!
