I don’t agree with the last comment, Slaters is so welcoming, the regulars are hilarious! Get yourself a (cheap!) drink and stick some cheesy music on the jukebox! Its a great place to start your night off, really gets you in the party spirit! Its also the perfect place if you still want to talk to your mates without losing your voice! Their drinks are really cheap and they offer a wide variety. Try their 'Quad Vod’ if you dare!!
Wow. This place is crazy! It's saving grace is the fact that the drinks are cheap, but there lies the root of its problem!
The bar's motto is "Slaters: The College of Knowledge," but that is perhaps wishful thinking. Most people in this city centre bar are usually too blotto to know even what day it is, let alone anything more taxing!
Famed for its cheap vodka and red bull deals, Slaters can be quite a daunting place as the night goes on, and really isn't the place to come for a quiet drink!
However, despite the clientele not being great, the jukebox is rather impressive and Slaters can be a good starting point for a night out! Just make sure you don't "look at anyone funny."
