They all raced through my mind before I ordered 30 shots between the three of us. I was forced to have 15 of them as I was a tourist, but I will be back now Qype has helped me find the place on a map. I didnt think I would ever be able to find this place again as I didnt remember the name or locational on the Liverpool circuit.

I had noticed the place was a bit shacklike from the outside and a bit rough around the edges, but you don’t come here for big lounge sofa, you come here for shots and cocktails.

Mine’s a coffee tequlia, the perfect hangover drink has been invented.

A night in Liverpool really wouldn’t be complete without a visit to this great bar! This bar specialises in Tequila with a compendium of flavours from Baked Bean to Cola-Cube. If you’re mad enough to want something a bit stronger they stock many varying strengths of Absinthe. There is also a well stocked bar with many draught beers and your usual selection of bottles and other spirits.

The music at Ca Va always seems to be very good, with high quality DJ’s mostly pumping out funk, latin and retro beats.

This bar is a must on a night out.

Only 5 stars for this beauty. Always go here on a night out and fails to be anything less that brilliant. Every tequila under the sun your choice is endless. A little bit dingy but adds to the experience.

Bar Ca Va is one of a number of bars on Wood Street, but what makes it stand out from the crowd is its warm atmosphere and extensive supplies of flavoured tequila!

Whilst the tequila might not be to everyone's tastes, Ca Va offers far more and is a great place to catch live music on one of the many open mic nights.

Despite being called "Ca Va," the bar has a very Mexican feel to it and offers many a bottled beer as well as the aforementioned tequila. I've been on many nights out here and i've never had a bad time - it never seems too busy but always has a goof buzz about the place.

The music played is usually indie and alternative and fits in with the prominent student vibe about Bar Ca Va. The members of staff are mainly students and they're all extremely friendly!

You may be tempted to walk past its rather naff entrance....don't! Go in and enjoy the delights of Bar Ca Va!
