I seriously could not agree more with this post. The hommos was TERRIBLE. I am scarred for life. I can’t believe this place even exists if it serves such horrible food like this – especially seeing as though it’s specialty dish is horrendous. Wow I am getting worked up just thinking about it!

I often go to Hummus Bros because it is tasty and affordable. Moreover the staff goes fast and you don’t have to wait. I have tasted all the meals but my favourite is the regular fava beans with pittas ! And a lemonade is so good ! If it is your first time, the staff can help you to choose ! I hightly recommend that place !

Only recently have I rediscovered this gem in Soho. Offering a wide variety of Hummus-based dishes, there is something for everyone at Hummus Bros. The staff are friendly, the food is prepared before your eyes and tastes delicious. Service is incredibly quick and efficient and their home-made lemonade delectable.
Only negative point is the loo, which I find too small.

I love this place. I’ve been going for 4 years and I’m still not sick of the hummus and the delicious toppings. I find that a small hummus and topping is the perfect amount to fill me and a medium and a salad is great between two.
I am disappointed at the steep rise in prices over the years, when I first started going (back in 2007) you could buy a small hummus with a chickpea topping for £2.50ish. However, they have a good loyalty card (we usuallly wait till we hit 12 hummus’s and go for a medium hummus between two and a salad), and each week a hummus draw online where you can win prizes such as ‘a free salad with any hummus’ or ‘save £5 when you spend £15’ (perfect for three people).
I haven’t had many problems with seating but this is mainly because I’m a student so tend to go when I know there won’t be as many people there. However, they also do a takeaway service which could be an option if your in a big group or there are no seats and you just need that hummus feeling.
I would definitely recommend this place is your looking for something simple, tasty and quick to eat.

Went for food here last night. It was ok, just ok, that is all i can say. Paying over £7 for a bowl of hummus with a few mushrooms on the top and 2 pieces of pitta bread did seem ridiculously steep though. Sorry, but won't be going back.

Brilliant little restaurant in Soho that serves dishes based on hummus with toppings and fluffy pitta bread.
I tried the hummus with guacamole and I must say that it delicious and was surprisingly filling.
The staff were very friendly and we got a complimentary mint tea at the end of the meal!
Would definitely recommend this place!!

BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD!!!!!! I love Hummus like the next person. I dont know what blend they are using but it tasted horrible. You would think a restaurant that is based purely on one product would get it right, they haven't. It looked appetising until I put it in my mouth. Horrible. I tried the chicken and my girlfriend had the salad meal. Two regular meals, basically a plate of (bad) hummus with a topping, 2 pita breads, 1 tea and a coffee was £17.40! The best thing about this restaurant was leaving..... seriously, do not bother. I have tasted better from a £1 pot from Sainsbury's. If you do decide to eat here, there is a well stocked Odd Bins just across the road you can use to wash the taste from your mouth.

An idea as great as simple. Hummus and a topic you can choose (cold or hot) with freshly baked pita.
In London there are countless places to go when you are hungry, but Hummus bros. is something extraordinary. Probably because they haven't really competition. Until now they are quite unique and the idea is perfect, because hummus is indeed something you can just eat everyday without getting bored (as they make different topics, dependent on the season).
I tried chicken and lenses - both were delicious!
I also loved the drinks (ginger lemonade with mint or fresh aloe vera with grapes, also a homemade limonade) which were really yummie and well measured.
Funnily enough while checking the card and deciding what to drink the waitress suddenly asked: "Are you German?" I (uncertain, disappointed in my accent): "Yes..." She: "Also können wir uns auch auf deutsch unterhalten." She heard us talking german before.
Obviously she was a student from Berlin. Cool coincidence.
Anyway Hummus Bros are great! Everybody who wants a bit oriental-big-city-flavour should eat here. The prices are ok and the drinks are great.
Also perfect for vegetarians!
The paper instructions/analysis about the way you eat hummus and therefore your character are hilarious! The Berlin waitress gave us some as a souvenir. Also it was a great distraction while waiting in the airy room for our meals to come.

So I've sort of side-stepped Hummus Bros for some time due to my 'over it' feeling toward hummus. When the big hummus plague happened I was in the front line, visiting parks and BBQs with fresh french loaves and tubs of hummus in different colours and flavours. And then one morning I awoke, and could not bare to look at another beige chunky pot. And that was that.
So somewhere called 'Hummus Bros' was as likely a perfect shoe fit for me as another termed 'Offal Aunts'. And I neglected it besides recommendations from friends.
But then a group of friends were heading down and I begrudgingly came along and was pleasantly surprised. I could get a bowl of tasty meaty lumps in a swish salty gravy with a line of hummus around the top that you could swipe in or mostly ignore as you scooped it up with warm wholewheat pittas = win.
Can get busy at lunch times and they have a 'small' (medium) and 'regular' (large) - if it's just lunch the small should do - I went for the regular and ended up leaving half.

I like Hummus, Heard lots of good things about here - thought I was onto a winner.
I was wrong. This hummus just tastes strange. I opted for plain hummus with carrot sticks and sundried tomatoes, and my friend had the mushrooms. She seemed to agree that the hummus was slightly weird.
Also think that this place is preety overpriced for what you get. I like hummus, just don't think this place works.

I was not too impressed by the hummus, I've had better elsewhere, but the beef topping was ok. I thought it was a bit expensive for what was on the plate.
Service was a bit slow even though it was early and I was the only one in the shop.
Nice touch that they offer wheat-free bread as an alternative to the pitta.

"Tasty" and "healthy" go together to make this fab fast food outlet a find for people who want to eat well, and eat quickly.
Get an extra hard boiled egg on top of your hummus for 60p and your plate will soon be empty, while your tummy (and wallet) will be reassuringly full.
Price: 5 hungry crew members stuffed their face for under £26.
Note: they also do hot spiced apple juice!

A unique concept in London.
Good variety of dishes like guacamole or rogan gosh.
Friendly American style service. Nice Lemonade too.
A must visit if you are unfortunate enough to be a vegetarian or even worse a vegan.

They serve the blandest hummos ever. The toppings somewhat save the day, giving a decent overall taste. We had the fava bean topping and the beef/chicken. The wholemeal pittas are also very good. We loved the hot apple drink on this cold day.
But if the hummos disappoints... what's the point? I mean, supermarket hummos is better!
The place has just one toilet for everybody. Then again there's uncomplicated free wi-fi.

I have a huge addiction to this store. Hummus is my best friend. A tasty best friend at that! Imagine my glee when I found out there was a store dedicated to it…
They have a lovely spiced warm apple juice in winter that is unmissable (mmm cinnamon buzz) but the main attraction is near to perfection. I do dig mine with more garlic, but the little bowls filled with salad warm me to the core. A generous side of pitta, warmed and awesome…
Yes, let’s give Pea’s a Chance.

Very nice place, cheap, easygoing, the staff is always smiling, the food is good and comes fast.
I like the mushrooms and the beaf more than the chicken (to much spicy).
I love the pitta bread (the brown more than the white).
The lemonade is great and refreshing.
The right place for a quick lunch.

The thing I love about this place is that it’s got great cheap food. The service ain’t bad, either. They also cater really well to vegans and vegetarians. Unfortunately, they don’t have as much raw food as I’d like, but I guess the raw food movement isn’t for everyone.
All-in-all, I’m not sure how these guys could be any better. Probably the best price-to-deliciousness ratio of anywhere I’ve been in central London.

Saw it and from the outside thought, great idea!
No booze, no fun.
Generally had a dry aftertaste, and the food was boring and sameish.
Still, well intentioned eh!
