Not too bad, they always play what's brand new, tickets are like anywhere else, not exactly cheap:)
You can get popcorn etc. and whole thing is rather standard the sound and screens including. Good is the position of the cinema, very central, glued to the Marble Arch, you avoid the whole Leicester madness:)

Give the first compliment Compliment

I'm not snobby about Odeon. I think that in terms of the modern multiplex 'experience', they do it best, and manage to just about convince you that they are sincere about their love of film.

I like the Odeon off Shaftsbury Avenue and the weird little one on Wardour Street (is that still there?), but the Odeon Marble Arch is undoubtedly my favourite.

It looks exactly the same as every other Odeon, except that it's often that little bit quieter and less rushed, but the thing that sets it apart is screen one - which was once the biggest cinema screen in the capital. It still feels huge and its effect, combined with the rather grand interior decoration (art deco??) is to make you feel priviliged to be enjoying a rather refined cinematic experience.

I was once the only person there watching a matinee showing of Peter Jackson's King Kong on Christmas Eve. I felt like the whole thing was being put on just for me, and when I stumbled back into the light, even the gaudy tack of Oxford Street wasn't enough to disturb my waking dream. Bliss.
