The Plough

We popped in here on the off chance last sunday for dinner but once we ordered our drinks we learnt that people normal book a table in advance for dinner!. we must have looked hungry as they let us stay if we were happy to sit at thebar end of the pub. the dinner was served fast and looked and smelt like hevean. the meat and gravy served on the plate with veg and potates served in separate dishes , lovely. i must say it was the best roast i have had out in a very long time , just like nanny used to make. The food is wonderful and we will be sure to visit them again.Dont go here and expect anything but roasts on a sunday as thats all they serve. They dont have a childrens menu but are happy to serve a smaller roast for little people. a menu is offered in the week but i cant comment on that as we didnt get to read one.Next time i think we had better book.
