Review of The Wrestlers Pub from 23 December 2010

Really great staff, friendly and quick - they can actually pour two pints of beer at once - something rare in the UK.

The atmosphere is cozy, nice big fireplace and friendly locals. My favourite pub in Highgate by far.

AND they have a good size back garden with heat. Something great for us remaining smokers.

The Sunday roast lacks a bit but is fairly priced.

Review of The Wrestlers Pub from 27 August 2010

Lovely friendly pub with a dark wood interior and a partially covered patio out back.

There were 4 ales on, including Waggle Dance which I am more used to seeing in a bottle. I enjoyed a wonderful summer pint of Stonehenge Danish Dynamite. I hope it wasn't just been brewed for the world cup as it has a great sharp fruity flavour to it and I would like to see it endure. Pub serves food too

The toilet soap looks like feta cheese. Probably isn't though!

Review of The Wrestlers Pub from 23 August 2010

Myself and my local crew parked out the front and ate a Sunday roast here on the weekend. When I did venture in to order I got the distinct feeling everyone was waiting on winter to arrive, all the dark leather arm chairs and candle lit table and an abundance of dark wood must have given me the idea!

It was really nice to be outside though, although you're beside the road, it's a quiet part of Highgate so it doesn't really feel like it.

The lunch offerings are as simple as it gets on Sunday- Roast only, offering lamb, beef, chicken or nut. By the time we ordered (about 4:30pm) there were two types left, and shortly after there were none, so I guess you arrive at lunch or miss out. Good meal, slightly more pricey than your average pub lunch, but quick service and ample portions.

Review of The Wrestlers Pub from 30 November 2008

A fave for young, moneyed boys and girls from the surrounding area - many of whom had gone to local private schools and haven’t managed to venture any further… Pretty big pub with food and a big bar with a big range of drinks. I was here when the smoking ban came into force - and even as a hardened smoker the back room was so disgusting it almost made me want to give up! Not bad place, although my preference would be for somewhere a bit more intimate.

Review of The Wrestlers Pub from 26 November 2008

This pub is a fancy pub at the far end of Highgate. It is overpriced but if you want a quiet drink it is perfect as it is off the main shopping street. Small inside, but very warm as it has a roaring fire on cold nights.
