Bryngwyn Pub Steakhouse

Visited the Bryngwyn Pub on Wednesday 20th June 2012 for my fathers birthday.. On arrival staff were friendly and all seemed well. We were there at 6pm and even though we were aware they were fully booked for the night it was still early and the pub was quiet.  We were a mixed group of adults and young children, all of whom had attended the pub previously with good food and good service.
On this night we ordered food at 18:15hrs and approximately 45 mins later the childrens meals arrived, the pizza was still frozen on one meal and we had to send it back, it returned some time later luke warm. The children ate their meals and after an hour of waiting i approached the manager to question why the adults had still not received their food. The manager apologised and was very polite offering us a free round of drinks to compensate. The food arrived a short time later and was again luke warm with only reasonable quality, ( The peppercorn sauce was very mild and the big plate appeared a little sparce)
As stated we have previously attended with no complaints but tonight i experienced very poor service and waited over an hour for food with three young children ( 2/4/6 )
I will not be attending again and felt so disappointed that i have written my first derrogatory review of this kind.

This family owned business has been working hard to earn an enviable reputation for serving good food at good prices. Lee Seager is rightfully proud of to be the Manager of this establishment that he runs with his girlfriend Laura Kowalik. It is obvious that their positive influence motivates the staff. This, in turn, promotes a good atmosphere and makes guests feel welcome.

Visited the Bryngwyn several times and always received a warm welcome, good service and great food, somewhere I look forward to visiting again and again.
