the GAY late is a great venue for gay people. I wouldn't advise straight male to go there but for gays, lesbians and straight women it is great.
it open at 10.30 but it is just as great to get there after the last drink in a pub as it would be already filled but not packed.
people are very friendly and everybody smiles which is always pleasant to see in london. the drinks are not that expensive and you don't usually have to wait for ever at the bar to be served.
it is full of people all so different but everybody gets along very well.
the music is great, a mix between hits of the moment, hits of the past 20, good old songs and the odd remix that makes everybody laugh.
definately a great venue for a gay night out then, in the center and not very expensive, what's better than that?

Those who may avoid the GAY chain of bars and clubs thinking them for the younger gays or for those who are just screaming queens are missing out when it comes to this certain late-night bar.

Opening every night at 10.30pm but filling up within minutes it is a great bar designed for those who may not want to go straight home but who may balk at the thought of going clubbing.

The design of the bar is great; a huge bar which is never short-staffed so queue-times are shorts. The music is, of course, very poppy but the crowd appears slightly older than it's counterpart gay-bar.

Monday to Thursday see's £1.60 drinks promotions so don't be suprised if you stay for longer and leave slightly more inebriated than you planned.

I have many an amazing night at this bar, usually unplanned. To be honest, I wouldn't go there to pull as, whilst the crowd is friendly, it's not exactly my type of guy - think more twinks, older guys that like twinks and those happily coupled up 30's guys - but grab a friend or two and you can have a brilliant but cheap night out.

One note to lesbians, the crowd is predominantly male and unless you're an obvious fag-hag their door policy doesn't seem that inclusive, as friends of mine have found out, but for gay-boys it's a win-win situation.
