Really nice - just as amethyst puts it.
Be careful the visit can seem short for the price, but Kew Palace is a Royal Palace so the visit is free if you are a member of Royal Palaces (Hampton Court, Kensington Palace, Tower of London and a few others) - it's worth joining even as a tourist!
The garden of Kew Palace is wonderful too, and free to visit.
A hidden treasure, closed for ten years until 2006. Beautifully restored, it reopened just after the Queen celebrated her 80th birthday there with a private family dinner. George III took time-out here - to escape from the public gaze - with his wife Queen Charlotte and their six daughters. It provides a moving insight into their thoughts, talents and the way they lived.
