Red Rose

We lived in Woodley for 3 years (10 years ago!) and Red Rose became our favourite restaurant. We are back in NY and missing it. I am so glad to see that it is still in business and getting great reviews. We look forward to a chance to get back to the UK and taste some great Indian cuisine at our favourite place. I wish I could remember the name of our regular waitor to say hello…we will have to do it in person.

redrose this place food and drink is very fresh and good quality.there r big parking,dress is very clean .food price not high but very tasty.chicken is very clean.

A decent enough curry house, especially for takeaways as they're quick without compromising on taste.

The restaurant staff were quite welcoming and the premises appeared to be clean and presentable. However, the food was of a low standard. The chicken dishes we had were overcooked and chewy and tasted bland. Additionally, there was a funny smell that kept sweeping across the restaurant and it wasn’t until we used the toilet facilities that the smell was coming from there- having said that on the surface they looked clean. Overall we do not rate this restaurant highly and unless it improves, we would recommend that you go elsewhere.

My favourite restaurant, just what Indian cuisine should be. The food is fresh, tasty and hot and the staff are always polite and friendly. The poppadoms are beautiful and the pickle selection is good with lime pickle, coconut, yogurt and mint dip, mango chutney and onion raita are all delicious, thick and fresh. The mains are faultless and finished with fresh coriander where appropriate. The pilau rice is delicately flavoured and the garlic naan is pretty nice too :)
