TGI Fridays Newcastle

I love the place and their food especially their Baby Back Ribs and Bruschetta Chicken Pasta.

tgi friday is a great place to go with family or friends the service is generally great ad the food is really nice. It can be pretty expensive but its worth it for a treat.

I just ate here on saturday, this american themed restaurant has a range steaks , ribs and other cuisine , I had the BBQ ribs they tasted amazing! All of the service impressed me and I wasn't disappointed at all during my meal.

we called in here on our way back from holiday. Its fantastic! the cocktail range is fantastic, and the fact that the staff get paid on what the sell means the customer service is fantastic. will defiantly be going again, and will make more of an evening out of it.

Okay i still think its a travesity that they knocked down the mayfair to build the gate but this is quite a nice place. Like the ones in the states there are a little large a little loud but filled with great food. If I were you I would wait until you have a big appetite and go in when the 3 course deal is on the potota skings piled high with mushrooms chees and sour cream could finish anyone offf and thats just a starter the veggi quesidlla is really filling my fella was partial to the chicken cesar salad but you can upgrade to a steak The pudding is just the best go for the warm brownie with fudge sauce and ice cream mmmmmmm. They do have kids meals and meals to share if you are going as a family If you are going on a birthday register online first as you get a free treat for you and up to 7 friends of free cocktails champagne shakes or desserts well worth a visit for that alone If you are after a different tasting cocktail give the gremlin a go

absolutely love tgi's! I would say I go regularly with my girlfriend as you literally can't get a better burger in newcastle. the decor is really well done, the staff are always polite and the food is reliable. I recommend the nachos for 2 as a starter!

I love TGI Fridays and really cant get enough Jack Daniels sauce. It can be a bit loud at a weekend as Ive seen quite a few stag and hen parties in soaking up the alcohol.

I must say I’m rather biased to this chain of restaurants as I travel to the states each year where they are all over the place and pop in and out of them on a regular basis. The Fridays we have here in the UK are quite similar although the menu is a little different, however this can be expected. The atmosphere inside in my opinion is fantastic, the walls are decorated in American memrobelia, such a photos of Kojak and Starskey and Hutch to name but a few. The food is brilliant, very tasty and well cooked, the choices are plenty and when your plate does arrive its on the right side of full. My favourite time to go is during the week as they offer special lunch menus which consists of two courses for a tenner and unlike some other places to eat they don’t limit the choice of what you can get. I love the Jack Daniels chicken strips for a starter followed by the half rack of ribs personally, however the list is endless. All in all a great place to eat, I would even go as far as to say it’s my favourite place to eat full stop. Get yourself down there you won’t be disappointed.

Such a friendly family orientated restaurant. I always feel TGI’s has an excellent selection of food on the menu that means you never have to have the same dish twice! The cocktail menu is basic but nice. The atmosphere is busy but not to the point where you feel forced out too quick. The staff are friendly and really know what they’re doing and talking about. It’s a bit on the expensive side, especially for students.

We went to the Bristol Cribbs Cawseway branch of TGI’s beforehand while in the south west visiting friends and had had a terrible experience, it might have been sensible to avoid visiting again. However, having put this visit behind me, I convinced myself it wasn’t so bad after all and it gave it another go, how dearly silly I was. Nearly all of the problems I had encountered years back at the different branch we had to go through again. Being stuck on a table placed in the walkway to the kitchens was unpleasant, and the table opposite had aquired itself as some kind of storing area for dirty dishes. Not going again!

An enjoyable meal in pleasant surroundings with helpful staff. Can’t ask for more than that!

As a poor student who rarely affords the luxury of meat, I can not express my delight at tucking into a TGI Friday's steak. Accompanied with the TGI’s legendary Jack Daniels sauce this is one meal I won’t forget in a hurry. TGI’s is a large American themed restaurant located in the Gate complex. The restaurant has a fun, laid-back atmosphere that is popular with families. They serve all the typical American dishes; such as steaks, ribs and burgers. A cocktail menu is also on offer.
