The Pink Giraffe has been one of my favourite restaurants for years but I have to say that service has gone downhill in recent times... long waits, mistakes and inattentive staff with poor English. Having said that, the menu still contains the best vegan selection in town and the food is always delicious.
Who could resist such a funky name?! You can eat in, get a takeway or even get a home delivery. The servings are very generous - be prepared to get far more food than anticipated, although in my opinion that’s rarely a problem! The price is average - certainly not the cheapest place around, but the food’s definitely worth the price.
Top tip: Chicken satay and the famous Pink Giraffe sauce (although not necessarily together!)
Been here about 3 or 4 times over past year and seems consistantly good tasty food .I would definately recommend the Pink Giraffe house style curries ,nice spice and freshly prepared, can get a bit busy weekends so booking is essential for this period and they do an eat as much as you like set menu where after finishing all the courses you can revert back to the starters again should you be feeling peckish over a coffee , but i believe this has time limit of 11pm so get there early if you are the bigger eater
I love this place. It's a little restaurant just 5 minutes from the town centre. Some of the best Chinese food in Oxford, and at the best value for money. I like takeaway from here, perfect food for a friday night in - very tasty and feels fairly wholesome.
The service is great and you always get served very quickly. There's a great selection of dishes, some spicy and some more mild, but never boring. If you're a fan of satay sauce, give this place a try as it does a really good one.
The decor is a bit old fashioned but this is a clean, comfortable place to have a chilled night out. Great for dates or family meals, not so much for a rowdy night out as it is quite quiet.
