Best ice cream i've ever tasted made by an Italian family for years. I have travelled around Italy and it is just as good if not better. If only they did more flavours (they usually have about 3 on) and if only i could recreate the secret recipe at home!

Looks nothing special from the outside, the place is pretty much as it was in the 70's. Aesthetically nothing fantastic....however, go inside and ask one of the long- serving, friendly ladies for a tub of their regular freshly prepared ice cream.
The ice cream speaks for itself...quite possibly the best I have tasted, just so smooth and creamy...great treat on the way down to the coast for a drive!!

Show your appreciation for probably the best ice cream in the world! Only sold at Crescent Cafe in Seaton Delaval.
It was opened in 1925 with just the one original flavour. They may be adding to vanilla soon.

This is a great place for your ice cream - lovely vanilla stuff which is quite famous for its lovely home made taste. The service is friendly and the place has been around for ages Its the only reason to go to seaton deleval. Really good place if you like vanilla ice cream

This cafe is also known as 'Wriggey's' and is famous for it's home made ice-cream. This is a family run business which has been passed on through generations. It's been going since te 1930's. The ice cream is something else (it's something to do with the cream) and although slightly on the expensive side, it's worth every penny. On a hot day, people are queued up out of the door and along the street. That is no lie. If Seaton Delaval had a selling point, this would be it.
