Terravision, Pisa

Last week I arrived by plane at the airport of Pisa and wanted to go to florence by coach Terravision. I bought tickets at the ticket-window of the airport. The lady clerk did not say to me that there is a return ticket price. She did not ask to me at what time I wanted to start. When all the passengers went up in the coach, four persons could not enter because there was no more place in it.
Some days later, when I bought tickets in the railway station of Florence to return to Pisa airport, the lady clerk asked to me if I wanted single tickets (16 € per ticket) or return tickets (10 €), but, there again, did not ask at what time I wanted to start with the coach. When the passengers went up into the vehicle, two English women were obliged to pull out their luggages that they had put in the baggage-compartment under the coach like every body, and stayed on the pavement until the next coach an hour later, because there was no more free places in the vehicle. With the risk to miss their plane to go back to England at the airport of Pisa.

Why Terravision does not ask to the customers at what time they choose to start ? Why doesn't it reserve the places when it sells tickets so that each passenger be sure to find a seat ?

There’s no need to use the Terravision Pisa-Florence service. The train is cheaper, quicker and more comfortable.

The only thing going for the bus is probably the greater chance of having a working air conditioning.

We have used Terravision airport transfer services on a number of occasions and have found them easy to book, reasonably priced and reliable. Last time our flight into Pisa Galileo Galilei was delayed by two and a half hours in the early hours of the morning, to our surprise and relief the bus was waiting to take us into Florence - excellent service!
