Watzke Ball- u. Brauhaus

totally awesome place. for a typical biergarten atmosphere located directly by the river, this place offers really good food and drinks all for a more than fair price. a short distance from the touristic areas but definitely worth it. plus they brew their own beer :)

The “Watzke” is a brewery, which means, they really brew their own beer. I recommend the “Altpieschener” beer.
If you have time, you should go there on Tuesday, because then there is “Maßbier”-day, which means that you get one liter of beer for 4,50€.

The food is reaaaally good, even though they don’t offer much for vegeterians.
In summer, you can sit outside, have a beer there and enjoy the fantastic view on the Elbe river and the city centre of Dresden.

Furthermore, the waiters are really good, fast and always offer you the next beer.

For those who don’t like beer – I can recommend you the “Limettentraum” which is pretty close to Caipirinha.

Just trust me and go there!

Really good beer together with delicious traditional german cuisine. We enjoyed the visit very much. Remarkable hint: you may order a 5 l keg!
