Great club, kind-off jazzy and intimate, very central where you can watch gigs while having a drink and/or a sitted 3-course dinner. We had a great evening for a friend’s birthday with good food (better than what you typically get in such places where the main draw is the music) and a great performance from Boy George… Yes that’s right we were suddently back 25 years ago with one of the 80s icons, and the atmosphere was overall fun, with people dancing in between the courses as they were served, with very friendly and efficient staff. After the live set, the music was played on the small dance floor and we stayed for a few more drinks and songs. An original night out in the centre of London (Picadilly) in a 1940s decor that make the whole evening a real “experience” to be enjoyed with friends.

I was taken here for my hen night (after an afternoon of Burlesque dancing classes) and we had an absolutely fabulous time.

It is a 1940s themed club, which is evident in the fantastic decor and design, but the music is an eclectic mix - but all quite jazzy numbers.

They do a 'dinner and show’ deal at £45 per head which includes a three course meal (from a delicious set menu with three choices) and a great table in front of the stage and dance floor. We were treated to a fantastic live jazz/swing band who were particularly good at their James Brown covers and were great performers. The music was quite loud during the live sets but was a perfect level in between when the resident DJ took over with some great classic and modern tunes that kept everyone dancing.

The dance floor itself is a little on the small side, but the atmosphere is great, and the tunes were perfect for my hens and I to practice a few of our newly-acquired Burlesque moves.

A great group night out or a equally a romantic, quirky destination.

A fairly large club just off Leicester Square. I went last night and it was a specialy tribute evening to Luther Vandross…I didn’t go for the tribute mind, I was just there for a private party, and I don’t know what music they usually play, but it was good to see the club anyway because it seems like a cool place. A nice area upstairs in the gallery for more relaxed drinking, and a good dancefloor downstairs.

Very classy music venue in the heart of Piccadilly. Step through the doors, down the plush steps and you find yourself transported to an opulent 1940's influenced venue that drips with style. Cute leather booths surround a lovely stage and dance floor that seems right off a movie set. Shame you cant smoke in here anymore, as it is a perfect smoking club. Music gigs are great here, in terms of acts and environment. There also burlesque nights here I think. Expensive drinks but that is to be expected to in such classy surroundings. Good place to impress a date.

You could have gone back fifty years or more when you walk into this place. It has a very pink and gold theme and looks a lot like an old Moulin Rouge type place. This being the idea, they do occasionally have burlesque dancers and artists, althoug I have seen brillianr jazz singers there too. Tickets are quite expensive but definiteley worth a go for night out with a bit of a difference.
