The Circus Hostel

awful people working there!!! Me and my friend had a problem, and the 2 girls in the reception acted as if they didnt know what we want, and when we left, they started laughing !! i will defiantly not recommend it!!

The Circus Hostel in Berlin is definitely one of the best hostel I have ever stayed in! It is a nicely decorated and spotless hostel with spacious rooms. The location is very convenient and the staff was friendly and helpful. Oh, I should mention the lavish breakfast and the nice bar in the cellar too. The only down point were the horribly hard showers, which weren't too warm either.

i stayed at the circus hostel on my first trip to berlin about 6 years ago… what a great place! very clean and spacious rooms, cool & helpful staff, great location… they even have a bar in the basement and a cafe attached to the hostel. right across the street are some tasty döners too (for those drunken evenings when you can’t find anything else to munch on!) highly reccommended!!

Had a great stay in this place a few years ago, the beds were comfy, the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was lovely. Coupled with the excellent location it made my stay in Berlin highly enjoyable. It’s also very close ( a few minutes) from the Roter Salon nightclub, a terrific, lively little spot.

If you want to have a cheap stay in Berlin, this hotel is the place for you. It’s very central - Mitte and Prenzlauerberg are easily walk-able. And with public transport getting to any other part of the city is no problem. The local area offers a vibrant nightlife and even the hotel’s own Goldman’s Bar is a great place to mix with other guests and locals. Prices are as low as 17 Euro for a 7/8-bed room and up 77 Euro for a twin-bed room with kitchen, bathroom and balcony with view over the city.

A really great hostel! I stayed in a twin room, which was very clean and spacious and had very comfortable beds. The staff were extremely friendly and approachable. It isn’t the cheapest hostel I’ve stayed in, but it’s definitely one of the best.
