Farrow's Fish & Chips, Bristol
4 reviews of Farrow's Fish & Chips in English
Fish is generally OK, chips are very variable. the fritters are occasionally still frozen in the middle.
The older (large-nosed) man is a sarcastic, miserable person, should not be in a customer-facing position.
The most foul product they sell is the curry sauce, this is truly dire, some form of chunky vegetable soup with some curry powder in it.
There are better chippies around, Farrows can no longer rest on past glories.
trunky UPDATE
Farrows have sold this chippie on the Kingsway to concentrate on the Wells Road location.
New owner will be given “some training” and then he is on his own, supposed to be happening very early 2009.

we travel 4 miles from Bitton to get to Farrow’s. Simply amazing Fish and Chips and lovely people.
If anyone could tell me a better Fish’N’Chip than Farrows I’d like to hear it. This food tastes brilliant and is quite reasonably priced too. Service is always fast and friendly, and you get a nice bag to carry the goods home in too! Highly recommended.
Farrows is by far the best fish and chip take away in Bristol. Located in the Hanham/Kingswood area, I have friends that travel miles on a saturday night to get their chips from here.
The prices are typical of a chippy, with a cod and chips being approximately £4. However, Farrows excels in that it's friendly welcoming staff will always ensure that every customer leaves with freshly fried food. It is indeed a jewel in the crown of our community.
I highly recommend the drive to this place....wherever you live!!!
