Compliment

This pub is situated right next to the abbey in the lovely city of bath.
It is a rather small pub, very traditional in appearance. Has a nice outside seating area under heated umbrellas, which is very accomodating if you are a smoker.
The drinks are reasonably priced, with a pint being approximately £2.50.
I would highly recommend the food here. Although it is not cheap -a typical main meal is £8-£12, it is quality. The portions are plentiful and the menu (although not very extensive) offers traditional english pub food. The fish, chips and mushy peas is a firm favourite of mine and is very filling!!
This is a great pub to visit at christmas, offering tasty mulled wine and mulled cider. And the christmas market is right on its doorstep.
