I had an appointment booked for a ‘Model Cut’ today. I was very excited and ready to try this hairdresser for the first time, only to find out to my disappointment that the trainee that was scheduled to cut my hair was on holiday! The main problem was that I was only told this when I arrived at the shop, and wasted a lot of time on a rare day off. I was informed that they were ‘unable to leave a message’ on my cell, which I doubt as I have received quit a few messages since I booked my appointment around 3 weeks ago. They also never attempted to call me again.
Since they showed such unprofessionalism in a very simple matter as notifying a customer when they cancel a booking, I have my doubts about their ability to maintain professionalism and customer service in other areas. I will not recommend this hairdressers, not even for a free cut.
Went to Headmasters Chiswick once a few months ago and I have to say I would not go back. Although I found the staff very friendly, the stylist did not seem to know what to do with my hair and also spent most of the time telling me about an experience he had earlier in the day where a woman had complained that she did not like the style he had given her. This did not give me confidence at all. I had my hair blow dried straight and cut, by the time I got home my hair was already beginning to frizz. I had a 50% off voucher and when I got to the till I was asked to pay £70. I asked if that included the discount and I was told yes very abruptly. I doubt what I had done cost £140. Anyway it put me off despite the nice environment.
This hairdressers is absolutely fabulous! Great service, friendly staff who made me feel very welcome. The quality of the cut by Cadi was first class and Adam's expert colouring simply put the icing on the cake! The manager, Bradley was thoroughly professional and very welcoming. The cafe latte was bought by the manager and the overall service was fantastic - highly recommended. Gazalla Safiullah.
I booked in here for a wash and blowdry (as I often go to Headmasters blowdry bar in Fenwick which is excellent) but I was disappointed.
The stylist I got was a new guy. He didn’t seem very confident and was unsure what I meant when I said I wanted a treatment when I had my hair washed - I know what that means and I’m not a hairdresser!!!!
Anyway he took forever to do what should have been a half hour job and he didn’t do exactly what I’d asked for although the end result was ok.
I think with a salon such as Headmaster (a chain with a fast turnover of stylists) it can be very hit and miss - if I’d been luckier I’d have got another stylist who may have been more proficient. However I wouldn’t return because of this experience.
I have been here loads and always am happy with my colour and cut. The staff are nice, although they do seem to have a high turnover (in a year, i’m on my 4th stylist!)
Nice size salon and you can even have a glass of wine!
I have been to this salon and its a good place to have colouring done to your hair.If you are anything like me and use a lot of products on your hair especially if you like try out home colours-then at this salon they will if you ask remove and restore your old hair-colour. The cuts are good as well . I alwys like to tell the hairstylists as to how I would like to have cut or styled so there are not mistakes.
