Happy is all i can say. I have had my hair cut hair almost 3 years now and i recently tried a keratin blow dry. And I found that it worked for me. My hair is qute frizzy and thick. I was reluctant to try it as I had tried a brazilian treatment before. But as i have had my hair done by one of the girls before she suggested I try the treatenment as it would put back the goodness in my hair after having highlights. So i tried it and I can honestly say that my hair feels alot better and is much more managble, and feels great.

This beauty base salon is RUBBISH! RUUBBISH! RUBBISH! RUBBISH! RUBBISH! They advertise that they can do brazillian blow dry on afro hair, they change me a extra 20 plus i brought the 55 groupon. I should say, i went in with a wig on and leave with it on. It a big shame they are coning people out of their money. They cannot do afro hair. My hair look just the same only difference it look worse. I am a single mum and a fulltime student and i was very disappointed with the service. The owner did nothing more than said sorry that you not happy. The toilet it somewhere behind the building look very tacky. Overall i regret ever going there. Please save your money people, dont make the same mistake. May god help them. What goes around will come around.

I am the manager of Beauty Base. I am sorry you feel this way but please allow me to clarify.
Please note, that there is an additional charge for the keratin treatment for afro hair. This is clearly stated in the voucher you purchased. The treatment is a designed to treat hair. It is a protein based formula which helps condition the hair and remove frizz. This makes hair more manageable. The treatment has been used on many afro clients previously, which have been happy and they have returned.

I am a regular client of beauty base. i first had my brazilian blow dry approx. 1 year ago. i have now had the treatment 4 times. i would like to say that i am very pleased with the results as it leaves my hair managable and frizz free. I have also had my hair cut, and coloured. The prices are very affordable and the service 9 times out of 10 is pleasant. My experiences of this salon have been positive and pleasent. I have told both friends and family about the salon to.

Surprise- surprise!!! i am the lady booked 1pm on Tuesday the 24/01/2012 – As the manager you dealt with my complaint and so now you now don’t remmeber . What I don’t have anything esle to do- but make things up!!!! You were going to pray for me – so my hair will grow back quickly after the Hairdresser CHOP IT OFF- It is crime what she did to my hair. You should not be allowed to run a business where you distory someone life!!!
Also there is only 1 Foreign Hairdresser who was working that day. I am Mrs Rai – ring bell or i am still lying. After all you are the Manager and owner of the business with your husband based in Beauty Base in Ealing Broadway – you both know me quite well as i used both salon over last few years.

I called Ali today at 12.40pm at Ealing Broadway Beauty Base to discuss the issue of my hair being butchered off – as I am so upset and I could not face anyone or speak to anyone about my whole experience !!!!
Well Ali said he will call me back once he gets cover for reception desk that was at 12.45pm –it is now 5.20pm.
So this just show’s how important is for Beauty Base in Ealing to resolve my complaint and put things right with me.
Once again this business has show that they are not interested correctly their mistake as I have no up dates as what action they are going to take regarding their Butchered Hairdresser and my Hair.
So Ali I will come to the Ealing Broadway branch on Tuesday 31/January /2012 around 5.30pm – for my full refund of £24 plus compensation amount for hair cut and colouring – but as full head off highlights as that is the only way I can colour my hair due to allergic reaction to hair dye . Which you and your staff are well aware.

I was short of staffed and tried my best to get cover on Saturday. However, I was unable to.
I did try to call you a number of times but due to curcumstances which were beyond my control, I was not able to talk to you until later in the day, when i finished work.
I have agreed to meet you on Tuesday.
Do not use this place – as i went to have my hair cut on 24/01/2012. The hairdresser just hacked off all my hair twice i asked her to stop and slow down and let me see what she was doing – as i felt she was going to fast and cutting to short.
After wards once all the damage was done the hairdresser just said – don’t worry your hair will grow back!!!! the Manager just gave me discount of £6 and said she will pray for me- for my hair to grow back.
#I am so upset and warning other women please do not use this place if don’t want to look like me – i complete mess and afraid to face other people. This place is not a BEAUTY place but a butchers Shop .
No respect for other poeple’s hair – not once did the hairdresser apolgise for hacking off my hair- instead she blamed me for not understanding her style of cutting her !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BEWARE IT IS BUTCHERS SHOP- PLEASE LISTEN AND DON’T GO THROUGH WHAT I DID

The vast majority of our clients are happy. However, I guess most people do not write reviews about good experiences.I would like to try to identify what happened and why. Please could you call salon, leave your number and ask Shah to return your call urgently.
We understand that peoples hair is important to them, and we want them going out feeling good, and to recommend others. After all we cannot afford to loose clients especially in this current climate.
I hope other readers will also understand that the vast majority of our clients do have a good experience.
Great little beauty and hair salon that’s has everything under one roof. i went to have a Brazilian waxing, and I was amazed at the speed of the lady called Jabeen.really nice, distracted me whilst having the treatment but I could not believe how fast it was all over in..I have had it done else where and it can be very painful. She did the Brazilian waxing in less than 10 mins..I also had eyelash extensions and eybrow shape for Christmas but I paid 95 pounds to have the individual eyelashes. The prices vary depending on type but mine looked very natual and I love them. I will get them done all the time as they enhance my lashes and make them look alot fuller. Everyone complemented them!! My eyebrows were also a perfect arch, and all my friends told me how amazing they looked so i will be back for a def. So will my frieneds..
I love this beauty salon as they also fitted me in last min although they were busy..

I first went to Beauty Base last weekend and I was very happy when I had a sunbed, my eyebrows and nails done. All these services by the other staff was great so I asked how much it would be to have my hair up as it was my 30th birthday the weekend after they confirmed £15 and recommened I should have the semi permenant lashes done seems it was a special occassion. I booked in for the following week and had the worst experience with the owner of the salon. She turned up 20 mins late. The eyelashes were thickly put on more like a set of lashes you get from the shops not individual lashes. The amount of glue that was all over all my lashes was hurrendous and it hurt when I shut my eyes. The hair up was ok but nothing special. When I went to the counter to pay she said the hair up was £35 I said I was told £15 and she said no it’s £35 as it was a complicated style. Apparently she has worked for magazines and catwalks so I am surprised she thought a side bun was a difficult style! I then showed her the price list which also said £15 and she still would not accept it I felt very stressed out so couldn’t be bothered to argue as it was suppose to be a treat for my 30th bday. I arrived home very upset and frustrated that I have been taken for a ride by the person that owns the shop! I called the salon today as my eyeash extensions were causing me pain and I wanted them to take them of or advise me how to do this I called twice and the lady said she would get the owner to call me as it was her day of . I said to please contact her mobile urgently as I was in pain and I was very worried about my own eyelashes being damaged by the amount of glue that was on them. They have still not called me and I can’t believe how unprofessional they are. I used to be a hairdresser and I would never treat my clients like this. I am a very easy going person but I hate unprofessional and dishonest people.

I have been able to ascertain that there was a misunderstanding in the price. If you look on the website you will see that all prices are “from”. “From” is written at the very top. I guess it can be confusing as the word “from” does not sit besides the price. Please also, the price list in the salon also has the word “from” right at the top. Hubby bought me a brizilain hair treatment voucher, I’ve had the treatment before in hobs salaon, so I know what the treatment does as I have curly hair and takes me a while to straighten it… I went there and got made to wait 20 minutes then finally got into the chair the manger tried to charge me £30 extra because my hair was long even though she told me £20 on the phone.. I refused and said Im only paying what I got told on the phone when I was booking… The hairdresser started to do my hair I could see she hardly put any of the product into my hair, even though I didn’t say the product as there was a tiny bit of it into the bowl, the lady then finished my hair blow drying it and straighting it.. I knew that I couldn’t wash my hair for 3 days and finally when I did.. My hair was the same still curly and frizzy the whole point of me having this treatment was because it would help me straighten it quicker, I am so angry when I started doing my hair as it till took me long to straighten it… Do not go to this salon As they do not show you what they put in your hair so it could be anything . Iv had the treatment before and it works amazing and my hair feels soft and straight after iv washed it….

I guess the person answering the phone should have said between 20-30. I will address this with the team. Please also note, we use Inoar products. I can assure you that these products are very effective as we have many clients who are happy with the keratin treatment’s. However, I am sorry to hear that you were not happy with your treatment. I am writing a comment to sympathise with your situation about this completely unproffesional Salon Beauty Base in Acton and your disastrous Brazilian Blow Dry you had.
I had the same experience where one of their girls who could only speak pidgeon English ruined my hair. They told me on the phone that it would take 2 hours to do long hair, and when i arrived, they did the whole thing in an hour! The girl who did it, slapped on the product rubbing it into my scalp, which anybody who has had this treatment knows very well the proceedure…you are not supposed to put it directly touching the scalp with something containing those chemicals. When i told the girl if she could be careful not to do that, she just told me “it didn’t matter and she does it all the time” She told me she has 17 years experience doing it, when the brazilian blowdry has not even been in existence except in Brazil all that time, it has only been around a few years.
Then instead of straigntneing the product into my hair in small sections as you should, she blew dry my hair and roughly straigntend it, and did not seal in the product properly. No wonder the treatment only took one hour rather than 2 hours.
Then when i went to pay, i gave my debit card, or offered a cheque, but they told me some bullshit about not accepting cards because their machine was not working….but i suspected immediately that they are probably just tryingn to get away with cash probably to avoid paying tax or the commision to Groupon or something , but i did not argue, as i hoped the results would be ok.
I do remember having a friendly chat with Jabeen, who was marvelling at how great and happy she was to be living in England as there was justice and fairness here, however they could not live by the same rules themselves by the way they handled my complaint, which was unproffesional and ignorant of basic fairness, consumer rights laws.
When i washed out the product 3 days later, the treatment had no affect at all, my hair was totally frizzy, and i was very upset at losing my money and travelling so far and wasting my time.
When i phoned Jabeen to telll her I was not happy, she was suddenly no longer the manageress (surprise surprise!) and refused in any way to give me my money back.
I phoned trading standards to find out my position and they advised me all along the way, and told me i had a right to get my money back, or to get them to put it right. At first Ali told me that it would be better to give my money back, I put it in writing and sent it by recorded delivery but they refused to sign for the letter twice, and in the meantime he told me he changed his mind, by this time i did not want to go anywhere near these underhand people. Ali proceeded to act like he was taking the law into his own hands, when he obviously knew nothing, and then bullying me by text. Proving to me that they were obvioulsy worried about the tax man as he began making a big issue about sending me a cheque, and asked me to come in and pick up the cash! I told him i could do that if he paid £10 for my reasonable fare costs as i would have to travel 3 hours there and back to do so, and he refused!
Anyway, I could go on, but the subsequent communication stressed me out so much and his way of dealing with their mistake was unproffesional (by text!!!!) to put me through even more stress.
So all i can advise you other people that are stressed by these people is to just phone Trading Standards or the Consumer Organisation which is set up by the government to protect consumers from this sort of treatment.
I wonder if he can’t afford to pay a decent proper hairdresser too, and may be getting away with paying someone who has no qualifications in this country and is probably an illegal immigrant.
Never ever use this salon again……I learned one thing….and that is that cheap can sometimes end up being more expensive. I was depressed about my hair and the treatment they gave me for weeks.
but hey – to Ali’s credit, i did finally manage to get my money back, but they obviously have no idea of consumer rights, and i suggest they send off for a leaflet from Trading Standards if they want to learn something about the saying “the customer is always right” whether you like it or not Ali, which is a fact, and it is on that principle that succesful businesses are run. Which your back street salon obviously is not.
Fantastic salon, great value for money – I go regularly for Brazillian/Hollywood waxing. Just make sure you specify which beautician you would like as the prices alter accordingly. Would recommend this wholeheartedly – far cheaper than Chiswick!

I have been going to Jabeen for eyebrow shaping since 2007 and I now travel from North London to get to her. She is absolutely amazing and so incredibly fast and precise. She also does waxing for me. Nothing is ever a problem for her and I really wish her and her husband well in this business, they really deserve it as they pride themselves on excellent customer service and deliver it. The prices are very reasonable and the staff are friendly, courteous and polite.

DO NOT GET YOUR HAIR CUT HERE! I got my hair cut here, the first time the hairdresser messed it up, when i went back to have it corrected a few months later another hairdresser completely hacked my hair off! Result having to wear hair extensions for 4 months. I got my hair exrensions done here because they gave me 10% off and also deducted the cost of the hair cut, within 3 weeks they were loose and i had to have them taken out and redone in a proper hairdressers. After four months of having my hair in hair extensions (costing me a fortune not to mention the discomfort) it has finally been cut into a bob that sits just above my jaw done at HEADMASTERS in shepherds bush by Sean who is great (fab hairdressers).
You may ask why i went back if they ruined my hair so many times and it was stupidity and the cheap prices but honestly if you love your hair do go here pay a little extra and go elsewhere.
The hairdresser was totally unsympathetic to what she had done to my hair and even a telling off from the manager didnt seem to phase her.
I have been back several times to get my nails done by Tony who has done my nails for years and who is Fabulous and i have seen this untalented crappy hairdresser messing up a number of peoples hair from cuts to brazillian blowdrys.
My advice go there at your own peril, previous hairdressers they have had have been ok but this one who seems to wear the same clothes everytime i see her ruining someones hair is horrendous.
THUMBS UP TO TONY THOUGH ONLY PERSON WORTH SEEING IN THIS PLACE

I spoke with both you and your husband Ali. You acknowledged the terrible job the hairdresser had done and you gave me a discount on the extensions, although you made me feel like you were doing me a favour when in fact you was not. My hair needed to be in hair extensions because of the mess the hairdresser made of my hair not because it was something i actually wanted to do.
You can refute these claims if you like but i doesnt change the fact that my hair was hacked off and it has taken me nearly a year and a half to get my hair in to a pony tail.
While the hair services are terrible and i agree with Sallyvirdi’s comment about the brazillian as i myself have witnessed it, the other services that beauty base provides are GREAT.
You and the other beautician along with Tony are great and the service you all provide is great, there just seems to be a problem with the hairdressers you employ whether it be because of their lack of technique or bad attitude or in some cases both. Hopeully in the future this will change

I went to Beauty Base today and had an excellent service.
They had an offer where if you had a full leg wax you got a bikini wax free. While the leg wax could have been more thorough, the bikini, underarm and threading I had done was great and reeally well priced. I'll definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

came to this salon to get waxed (Hollywood) The staff are friendly but I'm not 100% happy with the service. it wasn't very thorough & I'll have to wax it myself again. and it says on their website that it's £15 but when I got there, they asked me to pay £23.
