Review of South Molton Street from 15 May 2009

This is one of my favourite little streets in London (although it is a bit snooty!). Posh shops, great restaurants and a few pokey little bars. Tourists will struggle to find this street (which i think is a good thing!).

Stars of South Molton Street are - Browns, Kurt Geiger, Karen Miller, Pied a Terre, Bang & Olufsen & Ramsay.

Perfect for after work drinks or a nice evening stroll. Remember to bring your wallet! You’re going to need it!

Review of South Molton Street from 28 November 2008

South Molton Street runs opposite Oxford Street and is near the New Bond Street tube station. This street is a pedestrian area. There is an upmarket look and feel about this place. Most of the shops sell shoes, so if you enjoy browsing and buying shoes, you can’t find a better place than this. Most shoe brands you can think of a represented here - Jones Bootmaker, Kurt Geiger, Bertie, Office, Dune, Pied a Terre…
Apart from shoes, there are also more upmarket clothing brands like Ted Baker, Whistles, Reiss, Karen Millen and many othesr. The star attraction is the Browns store, with their amazing selection of high fashion brands, for both men and women. You’ll need some serious money to shop there, so not the place for bargain hunters obviously. There are several coffee places interspersed between the shops, and the outside tables are always taken, even on the coldest of days.
I often come here when shopping in the nearby Selfridges store, in order to feed my shoe addiction.

Review of South Molton Street from 14 December 2007

I always head to this street when I want to find something a bit different to what you can get in Oxford Street. It is only really clothes and shoes that you can get here, the main attraction, for me anyway, being Browns. It is also great that the street is pedestrianised as there is no need to worry about traffic and it stops it being as crowded as other places. There are also a few coffee shops which are perfect in which to rest and recuperate.
