Please can I thank you for the excellent service & expert male initmate waxing you gave me yesterday. I was a bit embarrased at first, but you made me feel at ease & kept my privates covered as best you could given the treatment. I was almost a good assistant at helping, even if your directions were a bit strange at times ?!! Your whole team were polite & descret, nobody laughed or gave me funny looks, which I was concerned about after the treatment.
I attended OHBC on 14/09/10. I had a great hair cut with highlights and a manicure (which was fitted in at short notice). The cut is perfect, and I have never had so many people compliment my hair. The colour is natural and subtle which is exactly what I requested. My nails also looked lovely despite them being in quite poor condition beforehand. The polish stayed on for a week! The girls were welcoming and friendly. The only negative thing is that I don't live in Oxford, and probably won't be back for quite a while! Many thanks Debbie x
Just had a pedicure and i wanted to say thank you for one of the best experiences i've received.
The staff were very friendly and i was extremely happy with the final result.
I'll definately be a regular customer now.
I went to get a pedicure as a bit of a treat once the kids were back at school. The entrance is not very promising, a dingy staircase, but since it was in the centre of Oxford and I guess smart premises are expensive I was prepared to overlook that.
It all seemed a little bit haphazard, with new but shoddy decor, but it was clean and the two girls seemed friendly enough and I was offered a cup of tea. I said no but the girl got herself one, and then had a look at my feet. When she saw I still had nail polish on she handed me a bottle of nail polish remover and a pile of cotton wool pads and asked me to take the polish off, while she sat drinking her tea in the reception area with her colleague. I was a little surprised, as I've had pedicures in a number of salons in different countries and that's always been part of the service before. Also during the pedicure I had to sit on the side of the treatment bed with nothing behind me to support my back - I would have expected to be either lying on the bed propped up comfortably, or sitting in a chair.
The pedicure itself was OK and my feet were left nice and soft, but the nail polish was not very well applied and it wore off very quickly compared to others I have had.
Overall a rather disappointing experience and not really the treat I had in mind.
