All charities play a significant role in every day lives. The one I emphatise the most is MIND - charity supporting people with mental health problems. As any other illnesses, mental problems can hit us at any time and any age. Statistics say one of a four of us suffered with some sort of mental distress at some stage of our lives. Unfortunately figures are growing, especially among young people. Therefore we need enough dedicated and professional staff to be able to support clients in a way they need it - starting with befriending up to medical intervention. Therefore always remember - donated clothes is not only a way of getting rid of unwanted stuff, it has a deeper meaning to it, as it may change somebody's life.
