The Roo Bar is primarily a sports bar- I only really recommend going here if you want to watch sports as it’s a pretty average bar/pub otherwise. It tends to be packed all nights of the week especially because University of Bristol students favour it on pub crawls. It gets a bit messy as well. It’s actually an ok place to go during the day, there’s a large outside bit and it can be nice to sit there in the day time and have some food. The food is ok, nothing more than that.

Roo bar has a great atmosphere and attractive, friendly bar staff. Roo bar has numerous screens showing sport throughout the day it often fills up for the big sporting action and has a vibrant, friendly atmosphere for the sport fans. This friendly pub also offers pool tables and a table football table. In addition to this there is good food, which is fairly cheap. Roo bar is a great place with a vibrant atmosphere, which hosts great events like the very popular pub quiz on a Sunday.

This is a great place to go and watch sport on big screens - just get there early. The food and drink is as you would expect, fast and fine.

This place can have a brilliant atmosphere - high noise - high energy and friendly staff. When it is quiter - play pool, relax and feel like you are in the Southern hemisphere.
