With this establishment being situated on Smithdown road it is very popular with students and always seems to be busy. Serving a wide variety of chinese dishes there is something for everyone - the chicken and cashew nut is my favorite dish there. On one occasion i thought the service could have been better though. Taking everything into account thought this place is very good value and a worthy outing with friends or family.

My friends recommended me to this place a while back, but i was afraid that there werent going to be many disabled facilites as i’m in a wheelchair. I’ve been to other peking style restaurants but the food was not that good but the facilities were. But this place combines both great food and accessabilty for me in ONE place!
i wish i had came here earlier but from now on if i ever want peking style food i’ll always go here.

i am working in liverpool for only a short period and i have irregular work shifts ao i always go to the peking duck restaurant to get my order delivered to my front door. this is really convenient for me, but i'm leaving tomorrow to go home and the chinese food there aren't nearly as good, i will also miss the nice and still piping hot food that comes to my front door when i ask for the delivery, the only problems i encoutered during my few weeks of stay was the fact that on some of the weekend days, the delivery would take up to an hour.

I have been a few times in the pass couple of months and i will continue to go. The staff are very friendly. The food is fresh and delicious and there is a large variety. Best of all it is very reasonably priced.

Today was my first time to eat at this particular restaurant, i had the buffet and for only 7.99 it was a bargain! I started by getting myself a bowl of hot and sour soup, which was delicious. After that, there was plenty of other dishes to choose from but i have to say my favourite was the barbecue spare ribs and the salt and pepper chicken wings. My friend was a veggie and there was quite a lot of dishes to choose from. The best thing about the buffet though is that it's all fresh. Every sunday fom now on my friends and i will come here as the buffet is superb and there wont be any washing up to do.

The peking duck... what can i say? its really really good, i haven't ate a chinese meal this good for almost 2 years now, since i'm allergic to gluten products i had asked one of the waiters if they had gluten free products, and they had a whole list of dishes i could choose from. So i had tried the lemon chicken, it was delicious, utterly scrumptious. It had the light taste to it that made it taste wonderful and the lemon sauce was just right., not too sour but just right. I will definetely come here again with a couple of friends to enjoy it with me!

This restaurant was brilliant, i went with my children and they all loved the food, they loved the crispy duck and pancakes. The staff were very friendly to my children and myself, the prices were very reasonable and the table we got given was good too. The only problem was that as we had came on a weekend it was really busy and i hadn't booked so we had to wait 20 minutes for a table. Overall a very good restaurant we i will defintiely be coming back to
