Review of French Connection from 14 January 2008

French Connection always has something to offer. If the clothes are too pricy then the sales wont let you down, with many items 75% off in January and in the summer. The dresses and coats are especially gorgeous! This is the perfect place to shop for something to wear on a special night out.

Review of French Connection from 16 December 2007

What's in a name? Otherwise known as FCUK, although I'm not certain if it's PC to call it that anymore... The clothes however are less confusing and remain stylish and reasonably accessible.

The star turns in the current (winter) collection for women are the coats: including a cute and wearable funky parka with fake fur trim and interesting pocket and hem elements, or a cosily inviting black double-breasted style featuring quilted detailing and lining and an empire line belt. The dresses are pretty and party perfect; I especially liked the tiered, floaty, silk number in black or rich blue.

Not a place to feel daunted in; the staff are young, vibrant, approachable and helpful.
