1 review of The Playhouse Theatre in English
This great theatre is down by Embankment Tube, a really nice place away from the main theatres.
Footloose played there for a while, but has begun to tour the UK again. The two lead singers had the most amazing voices, and it was a play where you just wanted to jump into the aisles and dance. But theatre moves on, and a goody for the children is the recent beginning of The Adventures of Tintin, which begins at 7.15pm - great to get kids home early.
It may sound childish but it really is good fun based on 'Tintin in Tibet', so expect to see the usual characters, good and bad.
