It is a good quality club most of the time. Great for tennis and family friendly. The gym is very good and the cleanliness of the club has always been a good standard. The tennis staff are great, very helpful, great fun and during my many years as a member I was always made very welcome, the Racquet Manager in particular (DML) is a star.
The club membership prices are a bit too high in my opinion; the café prices in particular are a bit expensive. That said there are some pleasant members at the club and once you get started with the tennis leagues you will always have good people to play with at all levels.
Finally, it’s only when you leave the club and go elsewhere that you realise the quality of the tennis courts at David Lloyd, Cardiff. There are 14 courts in all (7 indoor and 7 outdoors). Great for playing tennis all year round and I personally loved the indoor courts.
