Pitcher and Piano

Pitcher and Piano is the perfect location if you're looking to step up towards a more classy drinking establishment. While the food is great, and really quite reasonably priced in line with the rest of East Didsbury, it makes a lovely change to come here for a nice glass of wine or a cocktail that doesn't have some sort of explicit sexual reference in its name.
The range of martinis, long, and short cocktails may seem a tad overwhelming, but the (attractive) bar staff are on hand to recommend something, and they make pouring drinks something of an art form.
If, following a succession of delicious cocktails one starts to feel peckish, the bar menu is available for chips and dips or potato wedges, or why not indulge in a chocolate sharer for a real treat?
Despite having a number of bars up and down the country, the few that I have had the pleasure of visiting all have a different feel to them, thus losing the feel of a "chain bar", which is to their credit.
