2 reviews of Richmond Farmers Market in English
Quaint, smallish affair on Saturday mornings until around 1500 in Heron Square. There are some treats here. The butchers stall at the bridge end is great and not too expensive, quality home-grown lamb and tasty sausages. The fresh bread is nice but pricey, and I really like the French guys who do ultra-posh ‘ready meals’ in their own little clay dishes you can take back next week. Very Richmond.
If you fancy a lazy riverside wander in beautiful Richmond on a late Saturday morning, just take a few steps up into pretty Heron Square and you'll find this bijou farmers market. There are often little tastings on hand to whet your appetite. The creative fruit juices from the Cotswolds are delicious; the fruit and veg are tasty but costly; the organic bakery goodies are alluring.
