If you're looking for an injection of fun in the new year and you've always fancied yourself as a bit of a comedian, why not see if you could turn pro' (in the nicest possible way...)

Parkshot has some brilliant and innovative stand-up comedy courses run by expert Tony Kirwood. Learn some great tips and techniques to enhance your comedic repertoire and get to practice your set. One of the students on the course I attended made it to the finals of the national Funny Women competition.

Even if you have no plans to go pro it's an excellent way to have a weekly dose of hysterics to see you through the winter gloom.
