We have been using J Hunt for years and Kevin and his staff always have time for friendly banter and will get whatever you need if they don’t have on the day. You get the feeling of long established family butcher who really know about meat which they do.

Just visited this butcher for the first time and they were so friendly and helpful! Was able to get free-range pork shoulder, lamb shoulders, lamb shanks and beef brisket. Plus I spotted they stock Clonakilty black pudding (which is amazing!)

A great local butcher- they always take the time for some friendly banter and, while having pretty standard meats on view- they can order game, duck, pancetta and other delicacies for you very quickly.
The quality to price ratio is far higher than other butchers in West London- they do great bacon and often have properly hung cuts of beef- the rib-eye and T-bone being exceptional.
You can get organic free-range chicken but they also have some really cheap sausages and ribs for barbeques. You can pick up some lovely freshly roast chicken and lamb ribs for your lunch on a Saturday.
They open early- I've been there at 7.30am but also close by 5ish most days. If you don't see what you want ask- they're really helpful.
