Celtic Brides

I have already reviewed Celtic Brides elsewhere but I loved the experience of dealing with them so much that I've posted it here too. I have read loads of reviews and comments/conversations about this shop and the overwhelming vibe is that customers are extremely pleased with all Celtic Brides has to offer. They are a busy shop, even when the staff are rushing around my experience is that they remain professional yet friendly. It will come as no surprise that I would urge all brides to go there.

Bought my dress, accessories and bridesmaids from Celtic Brides in Cardiff. They are such a well organised and professionally run shop.

From the moment I first went to try on dresses through to having alterations and final fittings they were a delight to deal with and I found them very accommodating. They made it all easy and because of their professional approach I had complete confidence in them.

They also have a beautiful looking shop, which is warm and inviting. The dresses I tried on when I initially went there were all in an immaculate condition with no make-up or grubby marks on them. I loved the attention and personal service they gave me.

I work in PR, it's refreshing to deal with a business who "do" what they say "when" they say they will. I can easily recommend Celtic Brides - a class act. They were superb.

Awful!!! Do not go to this place!!! Rude rude rude...need I say any more? The manager does not know how to treat customers. She opened the door to let us in the shop and told us that we couldn't look at the dresses until she was ready. She told took through every dress in the shop where other shops freely let us look ourselves. We were not allowed to touch the dress to feel the fabric. I told her what I was looking for and she picked out the total opposite. I told her I didn't liked what she picked and her attitude changed from over the top nice to dam right rude. Even her tone of voice changed to rude. She didn't like the fact I had my own ideas on what I want. It's MY wedding! Shop was cold and she refused to give me any details of the dresses I liked until I place a deposit for a dress. Also I was not allowed any photos so I had to have a few sneaky pics taken when her back was turned. Will not recommend this place.

I have just purchased my wedding dress from Celtic Brides. Wow the girls there are amazing. They made me feel like a true princess, the lovely thing is about this shop is they close the shop just for you, you have the full attention of the assistant with no one else at all in the shop. You really do feel special. The wedding gowns in the shop are absolutly beautiful and Carol and Janine are really knowlegable and nothing is too much trouble for them. I just want to say a special thank you to them for what they done for me when i had “my dilemma” and making a very anxious bride a very relaxed and happy one. Girls if your looking for a wedding dress please consider Celtic Brides, i promise you will not be dissapointed. Krystal x

I recently went to Celtic Brides and bought my wedding dress, which was in the sale. I am very happy to have found such a beautiful dress at a reasonable price. It is a lovely shop, stylish, immaculate, with beautiful dresses and comfortable sofas. The ladies are wonderful, friendly, attentive and understanding. They made a very nervous bride to be feel relaxed and special. I would highly recommend this shop.

I bought my wedding dress from here recently and I love it. They were so friendly and made it a wonderful experience choosing my dress. I would definitely recommend this shop. There is a lovely selection to choose from, and reasonably priced.

Would just like to say how impressed I was by the service at Celtic Brides. Carol and Janine are lovely and i felt very comfortable. Unlike other bridal shops, you have the shop to yourself when trying dresses on which makes it feel more of a personal service. I had been to many bridal shops in and around Cardiff and this was by far the best!

I collected my dress a couple of days ago after the alterations had been carried out ready for my wedding in December - i cannot wait to wear my beautiful dress!

The shop stocks beautiful dresses to suit a range of budgets....I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone i know!

My name is Angie, I got married three weeks ago and when I bought my dress from Celtic Brides back last December I enjoyed the experience so much I vowed I would write a review about them after the event. Well here it is....

Their shop and staff are fantastic. The shop is clean and very inviting. I am amazed that when you book an appointment you literally do have the shop to yourself I.e. you are the only bride in the shop and regardless of who comes to their door they do not come in and walk around and they do not disturb your appointment like in so many other shops. The private appointment doesn't just happen when you buy your dress it happens at your fittings too.

On arrival you are shown through every single dress in the shop and you then decide which dresses you would like to try. The assistants are so knowledgeable and offer really important advice, so much so that you realise within minutes that they really know their stuff. The dress I eventually bought, I would never have tried elsewhere and I would have disregarded it because it was very different to what I thought I'd end up with. The assistants at Celtic Brides however encourage you to keep an open mind, the very last dress I tried on at my first appointment ended up being my dress.

I went to every bridal shop I could go to when looking for my dress. Probably went to too many if I'm honest. I bought it from Celtic Brides on my second visit to them. Every time I went in there both before and after I bought my dress we ended up laughing and joking. I have such happy memories of my wedding dress because of it.

My advice to all future brides out there is definitely make an effort to go to Celtic Brides, you will not be disappointed and so glad you went.

I am getting married on the 3rd April 2010, I started to look for my dress June 2009, I was disappointed that Celtic Brides in Caerphilly had closed, but I was over the moon/delighted when I noticed Celtic Brides had re located to Cardiff.
I booked an appointment straight away and I took my mother with me to search for my dress.
The ladies in the shop were absolutely fantastic and made me feel really relaxed, My mother and I had the whole shop to ourselves which was very nice. The ladies were very encouraging and complimentary, they were completely honest and not at all pushy, the ladies even involved my mother to which she really enjoyed.
I had the time of my life trying on the beautiful dresses, I had an amazing experience and I was deighted when I found "the one" dress.
I cant wait for my wedding day to show off my beautiful dress and tell everyone where I bought it from. I highy recommend Celtic Brides Cardiff.

What a fantastic experience. Beautiful gowns in a beautiful shop. I couldn't have felt more special, the ladies are wonderful. Having bought my gown I am looking forward to my next visit for a fitting. I would highly recommend a visit.

This shop is awesome!!!! Bought a fabulous dress there today...in the sale too. Been to loads of shops all over the place and felt really disappointed with some of them but Celtic Brides was great.

I have visited Celtic Brides and wanted to share my experience with future brides. For those thinking of going I would definitely say it is a must visit.
I am getting married end of March and have just collected my bridesmaid dresses from them. I am not only very pleased with the dresses which are absolutely gorgeous but also by the service and attention I received since I ordered them 8 months ago.
They made everything easy from our first visit when we chose the style to the girls' first fitting. The alterations they did were done perfectly on the first attempt. Throughout my dealings with them they have been so professional and a delight to deal with. A huge thank you to the ladies there.

celtic brides in cardiff was a amazing wedding dress shop with exquisite dresses- full of variety. the staff was amazing and really added to an overall lovely day, i had been to about ten shops prior and was starting to get anxious about getting my dress, they made me feel at ease helping me with styles giving advise without pressurising me. they were extremly friendly and I would recommend them to every bride. you have not shopped for your perfect wedding dress unless you have been to celtic brides. booking is essential, showing that they are popular because of the variety of dresses and helpfulness of the staff.

I bought my beautiful dress, exquisite shrug, lovely tiara, necklace, earrings and shoes from Celtic Brides! Phew! What a relief! I didn't want to be spending ages going round loads of shops buying all the accessories. It all came together so easily! I knew the dress was perfect when I heard a "Wow" as I walked out of the changing room! I am an older bride and found the whole experience such fun and very stress free! Carol and Janine were so encouraging and supportive all the way through. The dresses in the shop are gorgeous and well displayed. Janine and Carol obviously take great pride in their work and it shows in the presentation of the shop and professional and very friendly service! The slight adjustment that I needed to the length of my dress was very straight forward as well! Thanks so much ladies! I just can't wait to get married now at the end of February!! :-)

I recently ordered my dress from Celtic Brides Cardiff. The ladies in the store are wonderful. They offer honest advice without being pushy or gushy. They were great fun actually. The dresses in the store were beautiful and I was allowed to try on as many as I wanted. I highly recommend Celtic Brides.

I will be getting married on September the 7th and I have bought my wedding dress from Celtic brides. Before searching for my dress i was extremly nervous, and worried about pushy shop assistants. However, the service I received from celtic brides was absolutley fantastic, nothing was to much trouble for Carol and Janine. They make you feel very special and i enjoyed every minute of it. All the dresses in the shop are absolutley beautful, you are truly spoilt for choice. The service I received was first class and would highly recommend future brides to shop there. My daughter bought her wedding dress from Celtic Brides and had an absolutely marvellous service. Her dress was beautiful and her tiara and veil complimented the dress perfectly. I cannot recommend them enough, the service was truly amazing.

I am getting married in 2010 and have recently bought my dress from Celtic Brides in Cardiff. Me and my family had a great service and highly recommend them. I decided to buy my dress there as my sister bought her dress and bridesmaids from the shop in Caerphilly 6 years ago. She had a great service both when choosing her dress and afterwards.

I would certainly recommend Celtic Brides in Cardiff. It is a beautiful shop with beautiful dresses and a wonderful service to match. I was recommended to go there by no fewer than 7 people and I am so glad I did.
