This place has the absolute best falafel I can find in Friedrichshain. You could say I’m a bit of a falafel snob, and I tried a lot of places. This guy knows how to do it right. four sauces included and wrapped correctly so that it really works as a street food without getting messy. The falafel itself is perfectly seasoned and has far more flavor than other places. Yes, falafel is actually supposed to taste like something. The owner is Palestinian, which helps to explain why his food is superior to all the other (Turkish) places around. Do yourself a favor and taste what falafel is SUPPOSED to taste like. I’ve now tried the shawarma, hummus and tabouli and all of it is fantastic! Honestly it’s the best shawarama i’ve ever had. Just because it’s an imbiss doesn’t mean it can’t be good.
